Let's just say Mojang isn't exactly personal friends with Roy G. Biv when it comes to wool. I mean really; what kind of rainbow goes white, orange, magenta, blue, yellow, green, pink...?
So I decided to make a texture pack where the wool starts with red, then goes to yellows, greens, blues and purples, like the real rainbow. Every texture besides wool is still exactly the same. Even wool is technically the same (it has the same texture; I just modified the hue of every pixel).
Please post replies to let me know what you think.
The colors look lovely, though what's the point of altering the colors so they're in order in the texture files? How will you know how to craft the right color in-game if the color of the texture doesn't match the recipe?

Yeah...
I actually made this with WorldEdit's //g in mind, and how pretty my mathy shapes would look if I could just have all the colors in order when I set the wool data values. I agree that you should use this texture pack more for just looking at things than actually playing Minecraft.
