Buldercraft is a texture pack I am currently making. It's sorta like an adventure feel to Minecraft.
[Note: this texture pack is in early DEV, there are still many textures to do, and textures are bound to change, so please keep that in mind]
New update: DEV 1.3.2
-Made the texture pack a resource pack, making it compatible with 1.6
(This is the last DEV update, the next one will come out in a while.)
-New objective: Adventure! It was originally a defult remake.
-Changed wood texture from to for a more darker look.
-Added texture for Redstone dust
-Added texture for Dispencer
-Added texture for Stone Brick
-Added texture for Chiseled Stone Brick
-Added texture for Stone Slab
-Added texture for Bedrock
-Added texture for Block of Redstone
-Added texture for Tall Grass
-Slightly changed dirt from to to reduce the grid effect.
-Changed cobblestone from to
It's... Interesting
I am afraid meny other people have tried this and failed.
You do need MUCH more noise and shading in your textures, but you also need... something unique, to set yourself apart from all the other default redo's out there.
Thanks for the tips, I am working on an update to it fixing some textures. You say it needs shading, what types of blocks do you think I need to improve on the most?
regarding the name, this would be a bad texture pack for builders. Usually builders will use the default texture pack to build or something faithful, because most of the community uses the default texture pack but this texture pack lacks quality.
If builders want something faithful, it would most likely be of better quality, not worse :/

Maybe you should make it a little less like default before even posting it. Just an advice, since your pack will get a bad reputation now when it look lazy and quickly made. If you have already more than half of your pack done and then releasing it would make people think differently about it.
You know, your right. I will update it for the converting to resource pack. But the next update will take much more effort, bringing the pack out of DEV, remaking most, if not all, textures.

Thanks for the input, like I said, this is in early development, so other's inputs can help.

I wish you much luck my friend!

That's not the name of the pack. Look closer.
thanks, it's not done yet though, by the end of the DEV stage it's going to look less like defult.
