Not sure if its on your side, but Forestry ores textures aren't done, I'm thinking its because Sengir does something about his stuff, he's a very special mod creator that loves to not fit in the same boat as everyone. your textures works fine for Base Metals for sure but not for his ores that are basically the same Copper and Tin, and maybe apatite which is unique to Forestry.

Forestry is a 1.7 mod. Then the textures for it will only be in Lithos for 1.7x.
It did work, but perhaps you are using a different version of forestry than the one I tested things with, or simply the wrong version of Lithos.

Actually Forestry just came out in alpha for 1.9.4, so maybe that's the one? Either way, it only came out a few days (maybe a week?) ago, so I doubt textures for the 1.9.4 version would be available yet.

Exactly, its part of the FTB Unstable for 1.9.4 modpack which I'm testing out, I do nothing serious there, just want to play around with new stuff that will come with the new mods, my main world is still in FTB Infinity Evolved Dodge34 edition (I renamed it cause I modified a hell lot of stuff, added a bunch of mods, customized the configs to be easier in many mods and such, I love what we can do with configs, I take only care not to make it OP, right now I'm holding myself and nearly have to use duct tape on myself to not add EE3 that came out which would make that adventure way too easy)

Ore-dictionary sameness doesn't benefit resource pack makers. I still have to add the files or edit the .JSON for each mod that uses copper. The nice thing about 1.8 and higher, is at least I can use .JSON to point to the same texture, instead of bloating the download with lots of duplicates.
Ores, ingots and storage blocks will be Lithos-ified for Forestry 1.9 in the next release.
Just found a very awesome mod that you should consider adding support for in 1.9 and 1.10 most likely, its called Quark by Vazkii, it does add so much building blocks but from the vanilla game, stuff that should be included in Vanilla Minecraft like stairs, slabs and walls made out of everything vanilla, some bricks, and so much, its so awesome I can't even think of playing without it in my 1.9.4 world
This is an absolutely lovely pack, and while I have always worked on my own just for fun, I am actually using yours for 1.8+ because my own is too far behind and yours matches my taste so well. It's just the right mix of faithfulness to original Minecraft, replacing the butt-ugly water, and updating with small details that make playing with it more enjoyable. Thanks so much for making and sharing it! I'll add you to the people to whom I periodically made donations if I'll find whether you have a donate button anywhere.
Also thanks to Dodge34 for recommending Quark, of which I'd not heard before -- I've tried to use another mod that attempts some of the same things (adding the missing block types from vanilla building materials), but it is not playing well with my 1.9 mod setup. Quark has some other nice features, so I'll be trying it right away.
I'm not sure what causes that but sideways turned blocks render like light blocks. I mean they don't have the smooth lighting shading. You can notice that by putting them next to a vertical pillar block regardless of the type. (Sorry for my bad English)
Actually, I just noticed that some of your core textures already work for Base Metals and Substratum in 1.9.4. (Yay!)
However, I have discovered a couple of issues in regards to Tinker's Construct in combination with Base Metals and also with Forestry.
The Tinkers issue is with the upgraded tool forge. It uses the metal block texture from whatever metal is used to make it. with your pack, there must be something missing in regards to ingots/blocks because that texture is missing.
Then, with Forestry, there seems to be a similar issue. The Apatite ore has no texture and also doesn't use the default texture instead. Plus, even though I don't personally use the Forestry ores/ingots, those textures are missing too.

Thanks for the report. Can i get the mod and forge version numbers?
Substratum/Base Metals and TinkCon stuff all worked when I put it together -- but it was using 1.9.2, and probably different versions of the mods.

I've released 1.07b for 1.9x & 1.10x to fix this issue. Thanks for the report.

That was my fault. Due to typoes, all of the forestry support was broken. It is now fixed for the next release.

Very much intentional. See, if you ignore the top face, it makes sense as stacked bricks.
What I don't understand is why the mossy isn't the same way in your screenshot. Mossy works right for me.

OK, added to my "to do" list.
Yeah, I've gotten several requests for Quark support. Added your vote to the tally.

Just so you know, we love your work.
You've been added to my "Support these Indie artists next" list.
Wondering if it would be plausible to add ore texture support for Base Metals and Substratum mods in your universal ore texture addon.
That add-on has been pretty unpopular, so I haven't updated it for some time.

Good eye, that's something I messed up...
It is an easy fix, now that I'm aware.

Latest version tested on FTB Unstable 1.9.4, still problems with ores from Forestry, all have purple and black textures.
Fixed for the next release.
