I'm purposefully not giving you a great look at the enderdragon, because I want to to be something of a suprise.

The Future of Lithos:

I don't plan to stop working on it-- there's a lot left to do and improve. My todo list currently has 29 items, and that's besides general mod support. What exactly I will be doing for Lithos in the future, I haven't decided. We'll see.

The 3d short grass is in Lithos Luminious 1.9-5. It looks like I never added it to the 1.8 version-- I don't remember if there were technical reasons for that, or not.

The reason I removed it from Core is because it had a really weird breaking animation glitch. I have an idea which may improve things, but at the least it will be in the next version of Luminous 1.8

I've looked over the short 3d grass. It is going to stay in Luminous, but will be in the next 1.8 release. I reduced the weird effect when breaking the dirt block, but couldn't get rid of it.

Announcing Lithos Experimental 1.8 Mod Support Add-on

Some of the big mods are starting to come to 1.8, and hearing reports that some of Lithos' mod support was broken, I put some time into it.

For now this is an Add-on. I've fixed the broken textures for Thaumcraft and Biomes O Plenty, and added 70 new textures to Biomes O Plenty. I've dabbled with a few other mods. The new BoP stuff will be backported in the next release of Lithos:Core.

This add-on will primarily be useful for those playing with 1.8 Thaumcraft and Biomes O Plenty.

My initial impression is that 1.8 Tinker's Con is not nearly as far along as ThaumCraft or BoP, so there's not much reason to prioritize it yet.

Up till a couple weeks ago, my main focus has been on finishing the textures for vanilla, but in the future my focus will still be partial on vanilla. Markcashion has been helping a lot on mod support. But still two people is not a lot against even the more common mods out there.

I haven't played much modded MC recently, and there are so many mods, so I'd love more help keeping up to date-- in specific reports on what's broken, or even better with patches that fix it. Faithful has great mod support because dozens of people contribute-- and their great head start.
