The pack has ONLY the Purpur blocks textures (Including the random variants).
If eleazzaar wants to add it to the Lithos:Luminous pack, then he has my permission to do so. If not, then that is fine.
Eleazzaar you also have my permission to upload it to your Curse resource pack download page. (I just ask you to not change the pack.mcmeta, but the resource pack's name is ok to change).
Aso if anyone else wants to use this, then they have my permission to do so.
Also I can't use resource packs, because Lithos:Core is missing some models, which is something the Minecraft launcher is telling me, & it might be eleazzaar's fault. BUT I can use my add-on pack (which doesn't edit any of the models).
Thanks you so much. I tried doing this and they didn't look as good as yours so thanks
The released version of Lithos for the snapshots is a bit messed up. I'm working on it.
But the main problem is the current snapshot 15w33a doesn't won't load resource packs. Use 15w33b.

Still having block model problems. This comes straight from the Minecraft Launcher's Debug chat (the "Game Output (SlipspeedMiner)" tab on the launcher).
Well Botania has some of the 1.8 Prismarine textures... SSSOOO, I only did the logical sense & transferred the textures over from Lithos:Core to the Botania mod textures.
The regular Prismarina block isn't animated though. I couldn't make it change between colors easily without creating a long animated texture for it, WHICH would of eaten up FPS on some lower end computers & cause some to crash. So I decided not to animate it. ... Plus the Botania version isn't animated anyways, so there is really no need to make it animated.
OH & yes, the Sea Latern is animated. The Botania version originally had less frames to animate, but I changed it to match the Lithos:Core's version.

Makes sense. One of the reasons for abandoning modded minecraft is to get the new blocks-- but if a mod adds them, you aren't missing as much.

"Interpolate" wasn't added until 1.8, so the slow fading effect isn't really possible in earlier versions, but can't you use the .MCMETA file (renamed to whatever the mod's block is called) from Lithos to change the number of frames for the sea lantern?

I did move the Sea Lantern's .MCMETA from Lithos to the Botania mod support. So the Sea Lanterns from Botania & Lithos are the same.
When 1.8 comes around, I'm not going to animate the texture, because the Botania version isn't animated, so I'm just going to keep the texture not animated to be faithful to the original.

I doubt that block will exist in the 1.8 Botania. There's no reason to have a duplicate of a block vanilla supplies.
Hello there Eleazzaar! I've been using Lithos for about 1 ½ years now and of course I juts love it. But there's one thing that have been bugging me since I started using this pack and that is no Connected Textures support. I wonder if you would consider taking some time and adding that to the pack. That would be like heavens to me, you know.
Thank you for taking you time and reading this message of mine.
Kindest regards, Lilipo
PS. Sorry if I speak to formally. I just can't help it when it comes to things like this
I'm glad to hear Lithos has staying power.
As for connected textures-- I have a little support: vines, cacti, reeds, quartz pillars, and prismarine bricks.
It's one of those things that I'd like to do, but haven't got around to much. And I won't in the near future either-- my time will be spend on new snapshot stuff-- Core, Luminous, and Christmas will need to be updated.
As for speaking formally, that's fine with me. What matters to me is writing clearly, which you have.
EDIT: Of course if someone else makes quality connected textures out of Lithos, I'd be happy to add it in.
Alright I understand. But that's where another one of my questions come in. Is it alright if I try to make connected textures for the glass and perhaps the white stained glass too? I might be skilled but I can at least make a try.
Anybody is welcome to make derivative textures from Lithos that improves mod support, or for their personal use.
I'll have to see them before deciding weather to add them to the main download.

That is why I help with mod support. I make the texture for the mods, eleazzaar looks at them & he adds the textures he likes (usually it's all of the support I have done in the new release).
I have made a small texture pack that edits the Purpur blocks to be more purple, like how eleazzaar made the texture before they came out. (I did it for robloxianroblox because he asked for it & eleazzaar said he might add it to Lithos:Luminous. So I made the pack).
Like all of the textures I do for eleazzaar, it's up to him if he wants to add the textures. (Eleazzaar, for that pack I made, I do give you full rights to add it if you want to).
Eleazzaar likes to keep the core tenants of Lithos:Core is to match the color of the vanilla blocks. So matching the core of the of Lithos:Core's feel is basically a direction that you will have to go. (I'm not saying that's what will make him add it, but I'm just giving you advice).
TL:DR; Making mod support & CTM support that matches the core tenants of Lithos:Core is kinda a good direction to take. But it's ultimately up to eleazzaar if he will add it to the pack. (That is just advice I'm giving you)
Sorry for making this really long & if it confused you.
What version of the pack are you using? That will help to tell why the compass texture would be broken (I'm assuming that you are using the 1.9 version)
EDIT: Did my game glitch, or is there no Compass Texture?
Let me just say that this is texture pack I have ever downloaded.
The textures are realistic and are close to the originals. Nice job.
The current 1.9/snapshot version still has some things the snapshot broke that I haven't fixed yet. The next snapshot version will have a fixed compass among other things...
Alright! I have made the glass CTM supported but there's one problem. In large quantities of glass when you don't see the border it's kind of invisible.
Maybe you could just CTRL+V the default diagonal lines default textures have?
Ok, thanks for trying but there's a couple of issues. It had been a while since I messed with it and had forgotten the technical issues.
Lithos glass (with MCPatcher) uses semi-transparency, instead of the ugly fully opaque streaks vanilla uses. Unfortunately with 1.8 the rendering system that allowed it was changed, so no more semi-transparent textures. So the semi-opaque glass textures work fine with 1.6-1.7, but you didn't use those textures.
So, I don't really see how edge-only CTM glass would work 1.8x and above. It could work 1.6-1.7 if it used the semi-transarent glass texture (semi-trans.png), but it would probably be a separate download since it just turns plain invisible except on the edges in higher versions.
May I suggest for this new fern model a second layer? like have that part and one in the middle but smaller
That's a good idea to make that single model more realistic, but I'm more concerned with the consistency of the whole pack. I think sticking with very simple models with the fewest number of polys meshes better best with the pack as a whole, and the numerous simple mobs and blocks that will never have more than 6 sides.
Thanks you so much. I tried doing this and they didn't look as good as yours so thanks
The guy in my pfp isn't me he's just really hot.

Still having block model problems. This comes straight from the Minecraft Launcher's Debug chat (the "Game Output (SlipspeedMiner)" tab on the launcher).
You are so much welcome. <3

Curse PremiumMakes sense.

Curse PremiumI doubt that block will exist in the 1.8 Botania. There's no reason to have a duplicate of a block vanilla supplies.

Curse PremiumI'm glad to hear Lithos has staying power.

Curse PremiumAnybody is welcome to make derivative textures from Lithos that improves mod support, or for their personal use.

EDIT: Did my game glitch, or is there no Compass Texture?
Let me just say that this is texture pack I have ever downloaded.
The textures are realistic and are close to the originals. Nice job.
What version of the pack are you using? That will help to tell why the compass texture would be broken (I'm assuming that you are using the 1.9 version)

Curse PremiumThe current 1.9/snapshot version still has some things the snapshot broke that I haven't fixed yet. The next snapshot version will have a fixed compass among other things...

Curse PremiumOk, thanks for trying but there's a couple of issues.
That's a good idea to make that single model more realistic, but I'm more concerned with the consistency of the whole pack. I think sticking with very simple models with the fewest number of polys meshes better best with the pack as a whole, and the numerous simple mobs and blocks that will never have more than 6 sides.

Time for the Clay Bucket Update for "Iguana Tinkers Tweaks" mod.
Yes, I do know that 4 of the buckets aren't finished.
The bucket on the top left is the unfired bucket.
I have also done the heads too. (The items to be specific)
