Regarding connected textures: In some texture packs some of the sandstone and quartz change depending on how many you have next to each other. Some get crazy and make pictures, others just put up different patterns. Some texture packs have more alternate faces with varying states of wear and tear. I'd be interested in seeing somethings along those lines. More specifically with the connected blocks, I'd be interested in seeing some new patterns when similar blocks are next to each other (much like what you've already done with half-slabs).
CTM Log Tops: Make all the tops look like that they're connected together (as if it was all part of the same tree).
Ok, i get why trees (especially the ones that spawn in 2x2 versions) would benefit from CTM tops. I haven't messed with that kind CTM much at all. Is there a decent way of getting the textures for 2x2 trunks without doing all 47 different angles and without it looking weird when people build more log tops together?
I know Misa's Realistic only the 2x2 and 3x3 section of the ctm is done to connect but i dont know how it looks in buildings. so like the middle in a 3x1 rectangle is still the default small circle.

If you mean "without it looking weird when people build more log tops together" as in the player keeps the logs in squares, then yes. You only need to do these angles: 0 (which is already done), 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15, 24, 25, 26, 27, 36, 37, 38, & 39. (Well you DONT have to do 1, 2, 3, 12, 24, & 36 as they are for the Horziontal & Vertical parts of the normal CTM.) The rest of the angles could be just the 0 angle.
Metallurgy 4 & Flaxbeard's Steam Power are the 2 mods that I'm working on helping adding to the Universal Ore Color Scheme, & may do a few other textures (if I have the time). Anybody else have any other mod requests?

After looking at the mod on its site, it looks really good. I will look at it more in game soon (after i get some personal stuff done first). (I haven't really done anything but take out the ores for the Metallurgy 4 & Steamcraft ores).
Hi, I was playing through a custom map and I encountered an area which caused low FPS. To my surprise, it was the result of Lithos: Core and the fact that the author had used lots of soul sand in the area.
The soul sand models are missing their cullfaces, and I assume it's not the only block.
Thanks, i fixed it for the next release.
Possibly it isn't the only block, but i was made aware of this issue last fall, and rooted out other ones with cull face issues. Soulsand must have slipped through the cracks. A spot check on some of the other early block-models i did shows cull faces as they should be.
