Is the blaze texture supposed to be missing its body? All I can see is its eyes, it's crown, and the rods floating around it. If it's supposed to be like that, I find it cool, just checking to see if it's a bug or not.

Yeah, that was intentional. I'm not entirely sure i like the effect-- it looks good IMHO with lot of particles put with particles set low, seems stranger.
Lithos HD Font is smooth, legible typeface that's still mostly faithful. It preserves the default character widths, and provides a wide variety of accented characters.
This Font can be stacked on top of any other resource pack that doesn't have a font, or has a custom font you don't like.
This is the same Font provided by Lithos:Core— there's no reason to use this add-on with Lithos:Core. It simply applies the same font with other packs.
Also when you're holding a bed in your hand it's blue but when you place it, it's red. Bug I'm guessing. Anyways I love your resource pack. Keep up the good work.

However as a native American, i have little exposure to accented characters. I think i did them right, but who knows. I'm hoping some of you are from other parts of the world, and can tell me if i'm doing something wrong.
Also i've noticed (browsing through the language selections) that for some languages, like Czech, some of the characters are drawn from other ASCII .PNGs. If anybody has the knowledge to help me identify which characters in all those unicode .PNGs need to be changed to complete an language, i'm happy to do that.
I'd like to help you with that.
I am German and also have basic knowledge of Russian and Esperanto.
Ok, cyrillic font is at unicode_page_04.png.
This file is probably* used by
- Bulgarian
- Czech
- Lithuanian
- Latvian
- Romanian
- Russian
- Slovakian
- Slovenian
- Serbian
- Ukrainian
*no guarantee for that
For identification of these language here is a screenshot with all of them in this order:
Edit: Upon checking again I noticed that some of these language also use unicode_page_01.png like Esperanto does.
If you transform both these unicode page into your font, you should have covered all those languages.
For further information and large scale pictures of the letters check: http://en.wikipedia....(Unicode_block)
Greek and coptic you can find in unicode_page_03.png (especially the lower half of the signs block is important) and on unicode_page_1f.png.
This file is used by: (Greek).
I have no idea whether there is a coptic language option. If there is one, then I have no idea which it is. ^^
I can read Greek a bit since I deal a lot with maths, so I use greek letters regularly. But coptic is unfamiliar to me.
OK, i've learned that the widths of any glyphs not on ascii.png are controlled differently, by a binary file that is entirely opaque to me. If i just make the art for say cyrillic characters in the Lithos HD Font style, the characters appear cropped. I've put out some enquiries, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn nothing.
Anybody that understands glyph_sizes.bin and finds it easier to do it than explain it, i'd be happy to collaborate.
I've searched, but can't find any MC font specialized for other languages-- of course the search terms may not be in English. Do such exist-- or more importantly do good ones exist?
Hey, man. Have you thought about updating books from other mods? Such as Tinkers Construct and Thaumcraft. Your project of books is awesome, and I'd like to see other mods be updated, either.

That's a possibility. But i'm not really going to worry about mods until they update for 1.7.x
The thaumcraft support looks amazing as usual; too bad I rarely play with thaumcraft. Still, it tempts me to try using Lithos on FTB, even though there are like 70 other mods not supported XD
Also, I know I haven't given a lot of feedback lately, but I've been mod testing the past few days with Lithos on and everything looks good. Some textures took me a bit to get use to (like pigmen and the diamond, which I assume is one of borrowed ones but can't tell), but after playing with them a bit I feel they are rather fitting.

The diamond is mine-- but i'm not at all happy with it.
If i were to work more seriously on mod support i would probably focus on the world-gen blocks, and to a lesser degree items you get as loot. That's the stuff all mod-pack players see, even if they aren't particularly interested in a mod.
Oh, so it is your diamond. It do like it, but I notice a bit of a black line around the edges of it that seems a bit off center. But I do like the general look of it; it does go well with the tools.
I almost mentioned about world gen blocks actually; but yah, those are the main ones that feel out of place (pretty much just the ores actually). For me, the main world gen that always clashes is the ores usually (overworld, and nether to a lesser extent). Most of the mod trees and such blend good enough to not stand out at least.
Is the stone brick texture supposed to look like this?
...
I feel like the texture needs to move up/down 8 pixels. Same thing with the mossy stone brick picture in your signature image.
Yes, it is on purpose.
If you compare those stone bricks to normal-style bricks, the cracks line up a lot more- which is what i was going for. Though it isn't perfect-- it would have taken more alternate blocks and fancier MCPatcher scripting than i was willing to deal with.
Lithos:Core uses the more traditional style. You can delete the "stonebrick" folder and images from Lithos:Luminous if you don't want to see the offset bricks.
I would also suggest some of the Thaumcraft addons (Thaumic Tinkerer, Thaumic Exploration, Technomancy and Forbidden Magic) but those could wait until after TC4 itself is done.
Lithos' own font is revealed in this release. Thanks to d3fin3d's for the use of the HD Minecraft Font, but it unfortunately hasn't been updated, and I've been wanting something a little easier on the eyes. So I made a new font.

The only things wrong are the g with breve (ğ) on the first row and the e with inverted breve (ȇ) on the second row, which look like a g with caron and an e with circumflex, respectively. The ordinal extensions (ª and º) are also a little too large; they should be like "1º" not "1o".

Thanks, i'll fix those in the next release.
I haven't made much progress since the last release, because my wrists have been bothering me when playing MC even for a little amount of time. But i'll try to get a release out with what i've shown soonish.

Esperanto diacritic signs are these:
Ĉ 0108
ĉ 0109
Ĝ 011C
ĝ 011D
Ĥ 0124
ĥ 0125
Ĵ 0134

Ŭ 016C
ŭ 016D
and can be found in the file unicode_page_01.png.

German looks ok, I checked it. The only critical (diacritical ) letters ÄÖÜäöüß are included in the ASCII file.
Hope this gets you a bit further.
Good luck!
Thanks, that was very helpful.

1) MachineMuse's Modular Powersuits
2) Thermal Expansion
3) Mystcraft
I know it probably isn't what the pack needs most, nor what got the most votes, but i needed a break from vanilla textures.
Good point. The first post has been updated with dates, and future readmes will contain dates.
