Sorry, I've recreated the poll, it seems to work now.

Release 1.7-J and 1.7-1

With this release Lithos is renamed "Lithos: Core" to help distinguish it from the Lithos Add-ons. Several textures in Core are now more faithful, with those old textures being moved to Lithos: Luminous.

Main Features of Lithos: Core

• New Mobs: Blaze, Slime, and Zombie Pigman
• More Faithful versions of several blocks

Main Feature of Lithos: Luminous

• Cubicly ornate Stained Glass
• Lightmaps for all dimensions
• Black-framed glass
• sSlightly Opaque Glass (MCPatcher/Optifine required)

Since "Lithos" is the greek word for stone, and most of the english words based on it are pronounced as is "Liquor", that way makes more sense.

Where do you download the Luminous add-on from? I can't seem to find it in the OP.

I find it is hard to get screenshots to capture the feel of the lightmaps. The difference actually feels greater when you are moving around in game.

Put any Lithos Add-ons at the top. If you want avoid seeing the default textures, put another more-or-less faithful pack below Lithos: Core, and it will only be used for textures that don't yet exist in Lithos.





And i should mention that mobs and item icons, are winning the poll, so that's what the next release will focus on-- unless the poll results shift.

Nice; I voted for armor but those work too. I guess I am really curious to see how the armor looks after seeing the tools. The icons will be nice to see as well.

Me too. I know what i don't like about default armor, but now how i'm going to make my own.

Focus for Feedback
Now that i have Core and Luminous separated, i can do more to address issues with Core not being faithful enough. If anybody has a build that works with the default textures, but looks wrong/off/weird with Lithos:Core because it is not faithful enough, please bring it to my attention-- ideally with screenshots.

Thanks I hope more users find the add-ons empowering rather than confusing. It certainly makes screenshots more complicated to take, and explain. For instance with including Core, Luminous + MCPatcher i have 4 different versions of regular glass. I don't have any plans for additional add-ons-- most of the non-Core stuff i can foresee doing would fit in Luminous.

But i'm open to adding more, if there's something i want to do that doesn't fit in an existing pack. If my mod support gets too extensive, it might go in a new add-on.
