...I doubt that I will use this or any other resource pack pretty much like I did back in 1.5.2 untill I discovered the ability to mod the game, because most mods have vanilla textures and I really hate how there are two different texture qualities and patterns in the same perspective...
Don't forget with 1.7 you can easily mix texture packs. Lithos + Vattic's Faithful Mod support would still clash, but less than Lithos + Mods out of the box. If you consider that an improvement depends on your personal taste, but i expect it to be a fairly popular choice.
The only one that I really have any issue with are the ores and other world gen blocks. They just stick out soo much more then.
That bugs we too, especially the ores. I would have changed the color of the basic stone more, except for the issue of that clashing. The next update will contain Copper, Ferrous, Lead, Silver, & Tin ore textures, which with a little copy/paste/renaming you can plug into any mod that uses those ores.

Yay, poll is working now. Also, do you think you could work on Nether Ore textures? It sounds as simple as putting ore design over netherrack anyway... Probably not that easy. Still would be nice. Also, think you could work on the Simple Ores 2 ores? With copper and tin done, there are just 3 left I believe.

Nether Ores is on my radar, since it would be relatively easy, and ranks highly on Curse.
Simple Ores i'm more hesitant about since it also has a tools, armor, weapons, etc. I don't think i want to add a lot of mods that i have minimal support for, unless there is a special reason for inclusion, like the pretty comprehensive villager support the next release will have.

Cool, just to note, I meant Nether style Ores more than Nether Ores mod. There are other mods like Nether Stuffs and such that have same kind of ores. Still, Nether Ores ores should work for the others.
And just to clarify, I meant just to do the ore block textures and not the rest of the items. Since you already did copper and tin, the last 3 shouldn't be that bad to add. There is a lot of gear, especially with the fusion add on, so I don't expect you to do all that. But it would be nice to just get the ore blocks so they blend in with the rest of the world. Because I think a lot of people agree that mod ores standing out is a big down side to texture packs; so if you tries to at least add the ores for mods too big to fully support it would still help.

I'm not happy with my basic stone. Before embarking on a big ore support kick, I want to get it improved, but my last couple attempts failed.
And then I probably need a more focused plan than "do all the ores" since there are probably hundreds of popular mods that add ores, and I'm not sure how to keep them all distinct. Just thinking out loud here.

Yah that does sound like a bit of a dilemma... Personally I mainly want Simple Ores because I'll be using it in a let's play with lithos soon enough (I hope) and it would be weird to have it half work (since copper and tin work) XD Although to be fair some ores do overlap as it is. So if two mods use the same shade of ore and call it different names, I guess you could just copy the texture and rename it so it works for both. I'd say that is more of an issue with running both mods at once that something the texture pack should be responsible to fix.

I think that the problem with the textures is that the items ID have to be different, the name can be easily changed and the texture can be changed easier than the name, because you will have problems if you have 2 items with the same ID. Anyways the ID are fixed by Forge almost always.
Now with 16 Villager skins for each profession, for a total of 80. No villager has the same face! Also 8 Skins for Witches. And in the name of completeness, Lithos now has skins for the 6 specialist villagers added by these popular Mods: Thaumcraft, Mystcraft, Forestry, MineFactory Reloaded & Tinker's Construct. Zombies for Vanilla and Thaumcraft are included to complete the set.
A few months ago, I looked at this and thought "Man, that kinda looks like crap". Now, after playing other games for a few months, I'm looking at this like "Sweet Jesus, it's beautiful!"
I can't tell if that's intended as a compliment or implied as an insult.

Hate to point this out, but there's 2 different kinds of Forestry villagers. Bee Breeders (which you've done) and Tree Breeders. (Pretty much the same texture, they just have green clothes instead of yellow)
Other than that, the villagers look pretty cool! Can't wait to see the other mobs.

I know, i did the Forestry Lumberjack too. I just didn't have room for him in the "Mod" column of my screenshot.

Curse PremiumI don't know what was wrong, but i redid the questions, and they seem to work now.

Curse PremiumI'm not even sure if he's talking about Lithos, or just Minecraft.

I wish i could have made a zombie version of each villager, but don't think Random mobs could be made to use the right one.

Oh, carry on then.
I like to see TPs supporting mods from the get-go, though.

Curse PremiumDefinitely, I plan to add more support. There's a lot of new cool stuff.
Detailed Constructive Criticism is always appreciated. Will reply when i've had a chance to take another look at the textures.
