I have just updated my minecraft to 1.5.2 and my texture packs now only half works. I made a texture pack which alters the colour of redstone from red to blue and changed the torches and other redstone items as well.

All my items are using the new texture except the colour of my redstone is still red.

Can anyone please help on why the update has caused my redstone to no longer change colour.

I am yet to install optifine on it so I will try that to see if that fixes it.

Installed Optifine and it worked
