I was wondering what happened to this. This would've been potentially the pack that replaced Mojokraft as a daily driver pack @ x256 resolution. But thou hath not 1.6.x. Of course, I am powerless to demand anything of dude I don't pay nor am working alongside, so I can only express my earnest wishes to see this reach 1.6 and 1.7 and other upgrades to come nice and complete.
Is this a dead project? It would be a shame I couldn't even download it to use the finished textures on another pack, the link doesn't seem to work for me.
SEAL OF APPROVAL on everything except the resolution size. But yes I am aware the you cannot add such details to the lower resolutions of sphax. I may not be able to play this pack but I still finding awesome.
The only blocks that have odd textures are the Nether Quartz ore, Glowstone blocks, and Redstone Blocks. They have this odd purple and black square pattern.
All of the armors are still using their default textures.
The new trees, flowers, and wood plank items are also still using their default textures.
I'm not sure how to use the new resource pack system.
Edit: okay, never mind. I figured out the new RP system. The armors are fixed, but the Redstone block and Glowstone block are still missing textures, and the new plants, trees, and wood plank items are still using their default textures.
GrungeBDcraft has finally been updated for Minecraft 1.7!
Sorry for this looonnng inactivity on this version of the pack.
GrungeBDcraft has most (if not all) solid blocks and must be used with PureBDcraft (since Minecraft 1.7, you can use several ResourcePack at the same time). To use GrungeBDcraft, add PureBDcraft and then add GrungeBDcraft and check that "Grunge" is above "Pure".
Many blocks have been redone for this update. More details in 128x have been added and better rendering in general.

Good, thanks for the update, this was one of my favorite packs.

Aside from the fact that the armor and tools still retain their cartoonish look from the Pure BD craft pack, the Grunge BD craft pack is looking absolutely awesome. I like the way the pack looks, and I'm loving the 256x pack because it has so much more detail.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!
I do still think this looks fantastic! The details are great and very well done. Don't get me wrong, this is likely just my style. However, I just now got a chance to make the changes I was talking about the last time I posted.
This is what the current Oak Planks look like:
Those, in my opinion, are two clashing styles with no glue to hold them together. Both styles are done well, but if you put them together, you will need some minor shadows to make it look not flat with the new texture over top.
This is an example of the shadows that would suffice. It brings the depth back without burying the cartoony part too much.
That's just my opinion though. Others may not like it, but that's just my visualization of what would suit the style hybrid better.

having some odd issues
When i stack the 2 resource packs, im getting some textures from the Bottom one (Regular) loading over Grunge, which is on top. Having issue with Stone/Cobblestone/Grass. I even combined the zips, and still the same problem.
But if i just load grunge, i get the right textures, obviously missing the ones that dont exist.
*EDIT* its the CTM folder. Just removed it, for now until there is a future update.

Retired StaffThanks! I haven't actually downloaded the latest version, so I haven't seen the new cobblestone yet. I'll have to check that out!
