I guess I didn't explain very well, but I was trying to say that I did try it with a longer delay, but the animation seemed jerky to me. If you want to change the timing yourself, navigate to .minecraft>texture packs>Blocksmith Hybrid v1.2.zip>textures>blocks and open leaves.txt, leaves_spruce.txt, and leaves_jungle.txt in a text editor. Then replace the text in those files with
0*3,1*3,2*3,3*3,4*3,5*3,6*3,7*3
and restart minecraft. The leaves should move slower.
I guess there is some similarity. When I started working on this I didn't know of any other animated defaults, mostly because I had never thought to check. After a while I did find DefAnimation and your TP, but they have had very little influence on me. But now that I see your signature - I really need to work on my fish. And if I animate the potion effects I will credit you with the idea. But I am trying to keep everything as original as possible and I feel I that I have done well in that regard.

The ores looks so HD in my opinion because of those "shadows" on the ore. Will all the ores be animated and will the iron/coal look like diamonds, gold, lapis, and redstone?

I'm not planning to do anything with the iron or coal. I wanted the more special ores to stand out a bit more, so I added the underline. Right now I'm not 100% happy with them so I will try ways other than a simple underline.
The texture pack hit 1000 downloads in 10 days! I finally made a showcase video. Not the best but it works. I have been working on some more ideas but this week has been a busy one. Hopefully some new stuff soon.

Well, the nether is tricky to make look good. Quarts is very common and doesn't exactly seem like it should be shiny. Opinions? I do want to improve glowstone. Netherack could possibly drip or something but I don't want it to be seizure inducing. *cough* defanimation *cough* BUT, I have an idea...
Edit: and that idea was dripping netherrack using animated random CTM. It is now implemented.

In an old Animated pack (never got past 1.5), Netherrack and Quartz ore would "blink" or "beat" like a heart. It looked uber creeper, but uber cool. Netherbrick I think would be better for dripping, and netherwart should have a "bobbing up and down" kind of effect.
Also, maybe add swaying animations for all stages of crops?

For the netherrack you can copy-paste that in from defanimation if you really like it that way (I didn't like it at all :P). We'll see how it looks when I finish it. I view netherbrick as cooked and dried netherrack so I don't feel like it should drip. Thanks for the idea on netherwart, I am planning to animated the rest of the vegetation soon.
I know what you should do with the Creeper and Enderman!

Their eyes should pulsate red every so often.
Enderman:
When you look at one, it's eyes pulsate from purple to a darker purple.
