when i use the 1.6 version on 1.6.4 theres a bug with the chiseled and piller quartz blocks. the bug is that the texture on them is a regular quartz block. this does not happen on the 1.5 version though.

Awesome, nice to know your pack won't be one of those 'texture changing' default packs where they start to take away the real feel.
Also, I know how you feel with being burned out. I used to do a texture pack and it was hard work keeping it up with school and stuff, I gave up on it because it wasn't getting any attention and I was rushing some textures because I felt I had to get them out in time and complete the texture pack.
Just don't give up!

hello,pls respond, im having a problem, sometimes, when im playing in my world, minecraft keeps not responding, then for some seconds, it starts responding, then that keeps happining all over again, then come a time were minecraft keeps not responding, then starts responding then immediately starts not responding, help!
Your welcome, by the way I have some ideas for the 1.7 snapshot and some that can be used in 1.6 if you need them.
I think the
- salmon should be the same as the raw fish
- pufferfish slowly inflates, then deflates and pauses for 5 seconds before repeating
- maybe the flowers will 'sway' slightly in your inventory as if being blown by wind
- the dark blue area in the middle of an ender pearl spins slightly, not very noticeably
- golden apple should glisten/shine if it doesn't already
- fire inside fire charge should be animated
I haven't tried the ideas but you said all ideas are welcome so here you go! If they don't work out then don't worry too much.
I like all those ideas. I'll have to see how much animating all the flowers in 1.7 will affect fps.

If this resource pack is causing the lag spikes you could try deleting some of the large textures like the leaves. A few other things you could try are lowering your render distance, turning fancy graphics off, installing optifine, updating java, or closing any other open programs. Other than that I don't really know what to suggest other than upgrade your computer. :/

This is Minz1, again, with more suggestions.
What I would really like to see is redstone improved in a lot of ways.
Like, for example, when redstone is powered, you could make it so the redstone pulses with power.
Same with redstone blocks.
And the repeaters/comparators could pulsate too.
Anyways, just some ideas, thanks as always!
I'm sure he's working on it, I'm excited to see it :D. Also, random idea, you should make it so blocks that spawn in the Roofed Forest biome (like Dark Oak Logs for example) occasionally have spiders on them. It also would be really cool if rarely it looked like a note was tacked up on the log, but a bottom corner of it was torn and the bark near it was stained red (Slenderman reference).

Hello again! I will look into how redstone data values work and see what I can do. What do you think of the current animations for the redstone block, the repeater and the comparator?
Suggestion: when looking at glass, through a different block of glass, the second glass is visible, and slightly darker and harder to see through. I'm not sure if you could do this, sounds difficult, but If you could, that would look more realistic, and cool. Besides that, I love you texture pack, I wish I could download it, but my computer isn't able to run it for some reason.

That is a cool idea, but I'm not sure if ctm allows biome specific random textures (I wouldn't really want blocks like that to occur outside of a roofed forest). That might have to wait for the add-on pack I keep wanting to make.

I haven't been playing as much minecraft recently while I wait for bukkit to be updated (playing the game is one of my biggest motivations to work on this pack). Also school and some other random things (school, an irl redstone project, trying to learn programming) have been taking way to much of my time. But don't worry because I will keep working on this! I recently got a monitor and a keyboard is coming today for my 14 inch laptop (that I've made this entire pack on) so that should definitely help speed things up. Thanks for all your comments and suggestions everyone!
I love this resource pack but in the new version i don't like the blood on the swords i liked more the shining. Well it's just a suggestion but nice work

You have to build the whole 2x2x3 tower for it to look like a tardis. Also make sure you have planks with a damage value of 5.

Sadly since 1.6 came out optifine doesn't support the extra animations.
