I can tell this is still a very WIP texture pack, you only have the planks done so far haha. So far I like the GUI a lot, though I think the planks are a bit too sharp looking. It looks like a higher resolution texture was compressed and made it look funny =x I have plenty of personal experience with that, because I'll admit for my texture pack, anything lower than 128x, I just resized and the 32x and 16x versions I personally think look like blobby mush, though people wanted them... so =/
For recreating a texture pack for a modern game, I think it would be best to make something that is a higher resolution to start off with, otherwise it looses that Bioshock feel I think. Sort of how my Wind Waker texture pack looses the Wind Waker feel once you hit 32x, I think the same happened to this.
Keep up the work though, I'd love to see what comes of it =3

- Edited the wood texture made a bit less... obnoxious (a.k.a bright)
- Increased cobblestone resolution (cobble and mossy cobble coming next update)
actually the blocks are 64x also i have created a SkyHook (iron sword) and I was thought you might want to use it. Also could I use some of the blocks you used for my texture pack, I am making a bioshock texture pack aswell but more of a vanilla sort, so it is still playable on survival. http://postimg.org/image/v9rrhwjyf/

Hmm, I attempted to use the Dodge tool on a liquid not a block... had an interesting effect I don't think it looks bad, I made an alternate version (Which I honestly prefer more), if you would like to see it post below in the comments.

The liquid looks good now but the glass looks a bit undertextured
So try using many different whiteish-gray's that are only very slightly different.
It will looks much better.
Also add a line (In white...ish) like your liquid 'line' but parallel to it.

Yeah... I was trying to figure out how to make the glass, I eventually decided on that, might redo it next update.
I have a schedule of working on the textures during the week, then releasing an update on the Friday of the week. This week I was considering releasing a mid-week update that changed the mossy stone brick texture, but then I decided the texture looked fine. This Friday I don't have any big update planned as I'm (still) trying to work on a cobblestone/mossy cobblestone texture but this week I've had a lot of exams/finals at my school so I haven't had much time, so on Friday I'm going to make a poll asking if the viewers want more frequent updates.

Yes it's my creation. I'm working on a bioshock texture-pack, too, but I'm not interested in bioshock infinte (more interested in bioshock 1 and 2 ). So I drew the "Salts" texture is only for you ... I won't use it

And the reason I had a 32x format was because I did this pack on request and the guy wanted a 32x32 TP. I'll probably do a 64x/128x in the future.
