Hey guys! So this is a project I have been working on for a while. As some of you may know I have made 3 other texture packs. All of which were 16x, but I have always wanted to make a High-Def texture pack. I started working on this in 1.2.5 and into 1.3 I then quit working on it as it got too hard. I recently started back up and got to a point where I thought I was ready for an Alpha release. Well here it is I hope you like it
I already found that brick texture on google images, and besides the fact that they are very blurry and have 'rogue pixels', they are of odd and differing sizes. The brick is 74x74, the wood is 74x73 as well as the leaves, and most textures don't tile well.

3 textures were from google images. The log, the cobblestone, and the brick. I attempted to make the textures tile well, I personally thought my tiling was good. The sun was indeed from google images I did indeed erase the white. I erased what I meant to ease the remaining texture was meant to create a blurry/fire effect. I'm not going to deny I used images from google images.

Glad you at least had the decency not to deny it. I just stated it firmly as in most cases the author will simply deny it.
That said, I won't be on your case for it, because I used to use google images for some base stone textures for some HD bricks or similar textures, but if there are any textures that are directly from google images, it would be best if you could replace them with your own textures when you can. You could use them as strong references, but a texture directly from google images isn't technically yours, so you should replace it when you get the chance. Consider it as something that should be on your to-do list.

It's on my to-do list I used them as place holders until I could come up with a design for them.
Started replacing placeholders. Took out the placeholders for oak wood, stone, sand (wasn't placeholder in the first place), and red wool. More original updates coming in the next update. (All wool textures coming next update)

But, is the moon the same resolution as the sun? It looks way more pixelated.
It is the same resolution. The reason it's pixelated more in the picture is because I was zooming in with Optifine.
Also, how well does it tile?
