I made a texture pack! this is my first one any I think its pretty good. It's exactly the same as default, I just changed a few blocks. (emerald ore, block of emerald, block of iron, bed glass block, and glass pane). I tried to make these textures myself, but they were not good enough. So I just took most of them from other texture packs to make one that has everything I like. So I am not claiming that I made it, just put them together.
Please, please, please tell me this is a WIP. Please?
Also you say that you took textures from other packs, but did you ask for and recieve permission from the orginal owner(s) to use their artwork?
You can't take textures from other packs, just another default edit. I understand you tried to make your own but you shouldn't give up so easy. people would much rather see something you working on than just copied and pasted. Would be good to see your original ideas
Exactly, don't worry if their bad, just put them out there (just don't make an OCD-esque pack. We've seen enough of those).

It could be a WIP, but I dont know what else to add to it. I just tried to find things in the default texture that I didn't like or thought it could be better. Maybe you could suggest something?
Also, I didn't ask the original owners for permission, sorry. But I did make the emerald ore and the glass myself. Next time I will be sure to ask the owner for permission before I use it.

Well I did make the emerald ore and the glass myself. And I tried to make the other ones, but there are so many different shades you need to use to make it look nice rather than just all one color. This is also my first, so I'm sure that I will get better at designing them

Why is it that every default edit/bucket fill/lazylazylazy pack ends up behind adfly? Come on. Really. It got old before the first time I saw it.
These are Mojang's textures, a slight edit of which does not change ownership. You realize that you didn't make them, but when you put it behind ad.fly, it's saying you think you should be payed for it. Do you see the problem that has arisen from this fact?
If you're going to make this, fine. Keep it to yourself. No one will care. But if you're going to post it on a forum with an ad.fly link, then you've lost me.

I just made a few that I thought could be better, so don't accuse me of taking their textures. none of their textures are in there!

Normally I don't involve myself in soon-to-be flame wars like this, but he has got a point. You do have a majority of Mojang's textures in there, and you are also asking money (via adfly) for 6 changed textures. Now it would much appreciated if you don't go off on me like you did Seradicus. Thanks.

1.Did you know that you aren't allowed to curse, regardless of any censoring techniques you may use?
2.Technically, you still used Mojang's textures. Like I said, filtering a work doesn't make it yours. If it did, I could take the Mona Lisa, make it purple, and call it mine. Do you think I could make people pay for that image? It's no different here.
