Is it possible to have a version with no potion effects? Because for me, I don't like how they look.
If I make a different version of the pack for every person that asked, I would have loads of unnecessary work. But fortunately, it's SUPER easy to remove yourself. Two ways to go about this. The first way: open up the file that is downloaded via 7zip, Winrar, or any other archiver, head into the textures folder. From there, open up items. You are going to be deleting 4 things: potion_contents.png, potion_contents.txt, potion_splash.png, and potion_splash.txt. The second way is a little more messy and I'll only get into it if you can't manage the first way
But if you ever feel you do not like a texture from ANY texture pack, following this tutorial with get you through everytime, but you will have to locate the texture you want to delete yourself
For anyone who checks this out often enough, this is one of the textures from the new update. WHICH BTW, should be out tomorrow(technically today, as it is 3 in the morning...but who is paying that much attention)
Thats the image you need to place inside the /textures/blocks folder inside my texture pack. But you will also need a txt file with these numbers pasted inside it. Place the txt file right next to the png file inside the blocks folder.
I think it would be cool if you had some sort of distortion in the nether and the end blocks, like suddenly it glitches it and the colours go inverted and the image twists. It would make the nether feel weirder and creepier...and, if it applied to blocks like nether brick, you could make some weird castles in the overworld...
Just though I'd pop in and say hi. This has really progressed since I found it 2 weeks ago! TO 3000 DOWNLOADS ALL OF YE BRAVE WARRIRORS! And may I ask what your avvy is? It hurts my head looking at dark colors because it's hard for me to tell where one color starts and another ends.

WOAH! I LOVE that idea! I probably wont use it for the nether, it feels more like the end; If you catch my drift. The portal to the end, the sky in the end, the feel...Everything is 'static-y'

A seeker is an enemy in Gothic II(one of the best games of all time) who has a very interesting backround pulling lore from Gothic I. I made a seeker skin about 2-3 years ago for fun. I was fairly noob at skinning(and still am) but I thought it was good enough at the time ;P
I have another skin i made for an Adventure Craft map I never finished, it's a pirate. Should I switch to that?
Okay, just a little... constructive critcism. Hopefully. :3
Um grass looks a little weird for me. The grass, not the tall grass. The new animation makes the grass look sparkly which is kinda weird.
You might not need to animate the grass or anything but if you do want to, I think it would be better if it was more subtle.
Also, the tall grass/saplings look a little weird. They're too wriggly now. XD Maybe you could just make them move occasionally? If it's possible. :3
I think the only reason it's an annoying point is because I see these blocks everywhere.
Another idea:
It would be cool if ores, or blocks like diamond and gold had shiny effects.
Loving your texture pack so far though. :3 Keep up the good work.
P.s My entire farm is a wriggly mass now, it's hilarious. XD

I love criticism, so don't worry 'bout hurting my feelings or anything =3 That grass was more experimental than anything. You can simply remove it if you don't like it ^^ If you have any ideas for it, throw em my way.
Ores are definately going to get a shiny animation.
13w21a update seems to have messed some things up pretty bad. It looks like it is ignoring the txt file that goes with the png file and is just giving 1 tick to each frame whilst looping. Maybe it's a change in the way animations work, or maybe it's a bug. But for now, there isn't anything I can do about it
I'll report news on this problem as soon as I find anything out.

Is this P.s a good thing?
Cool, I shall do that. XD
Oooh yes, looking forward to it. :3
The P.s was definitely a good thing. It looks funny. XD
So. I finally broke down and played amnesia(i know...2 years late...) But I have to say, it's not as bad as others put off ._. The first time the red jam stuff appeared and I walked over it I didn't know it would hurt you. And since I hadn't gotten hurt before this point, I was unaware of the totally jarring shockwave of terror that would launch me 3 or 4 feet in the air...because of the damage effect. Fffuuuuuuu.....But besides that, I have only died once, and that was when I was at the part with the invisible water monster...I'll admit, that was pretty frightning...
Anyway, back on the subject of texture packs. I'm gonna start working on redstone I believe, glowing and sparkling or whatever redstone does. But I do want some feed back: 1) How was the last update? Do you like the plant's animations? 2) How would you guys want the ores to animate? A quick shimmer accross the whole block? A sparkle here or there randomly? Or maybe you have an idea of your own? Post 'em!
I do want to thank each and everyone of you guys for the love you've given this pack, all the comments and downloads: I wouldn't have kept working on this without you ^^

I think the ores sparkling randomly would look cooler. More natural?
Can't wait for the next update. XD I love redstone. :3
I am pretty tired right now, but I am sure you still love ideas.
So here is my random ore idea I thought of now
Have most of the ore shine where there are no ore spots(Meaning there are no diamonds/emeralds/iron etc) and in those spots have diamonds appear and in the vanilla spots have the ore disappear and "simply" loop that together.
So yeah... I am extremely tired so this probably doesn't make much sense... I might come back to clarify later @[email protected]
(All teh spell checks...)
Love the pack. Can't wait for you to add more things! I had an idea for sand and gravel, maybe make the sides of them fall down some?
Woahoho! I like this! but I am not entirely sure this can be accomplished. Specific sides of blocks can be changed, but changed along side animated? Idk. I'll look into it though! There is far too much I don't know how to do ;P

I think I know exactly what you are trying to say. When it shimmers, the rock bits turn to diamonds/emeralds/iron etc while the diamonds/emeralds/iron etc bits turn to stone. Correct?
It is truely an interesting idea, and it would look really neat I think, but I don't think it makes sense ;P It's on the same level as transforming mossy cobble. Seriously though dude, I like your ideas. Don't stop...
