My Texture packs stopped working

After I updated to the latest build, my texture packs stopped working properly. Everything with the texture pack applies except the actual blocks that make minecraft remain default. I am using an HD pack and have MCPatcher. I have tried several different packs and the same thing happens. The appearance of everything changes except the blocks. Please help!!!!

Your texture pack is not up to date. It's a 1.4 texture pack, and most likely isn't in the new 1.5 form for terrain.
