This amazing pack has been picked up by Eleazzaar and it is so much better. I am certain the Eleazzaar thread will be started soon, until then downloads are here.
HI Everyone,
As many will know this is the continuation of Thinkr's original pack. He has retired from maintaining it and wanted someone to continue this great texture pack. I accepted the challenge! What a great base to start from and love the result.
Longavita approached me with so many excellent suggestions for the pack, he is now the official Design Adviser for the pack. I cannot thank him enough for his contributions and I am certain the pack will only get better thanks to his help.
This texture pack focuses on making the game easier to play by having easily identifiable colors and textures. I will endeavour to continue this concept.
Features:
Simple textures
Cleaner GUI
Borders around every block
Sun, moon and clouds point in the direction they are going
Ore and clay is much more visible
Wheat turns gold when grown
Licence / Permissions (legalistic crap):
Please get permission to reuse content from this pack in other packs.
Please get permission to re-distribute this content.
Please give credit and link to this thread to write reviews with screenshots.
Please give credit and link to this thread to make videos using this content.
Please tell me what you like and, especially, what you DO NOT like. For the things that are not right, if you can tell me why they are wrong there is a good chance I will fix it, well at least try.
This isn't all his work, but is a continuation. He does indeed have credit, because the previous owner actually asked him to continue it (rather, asked for someone to, and Kyctarniq offered).
The thread in which he obtained permission is here.
On topic: The light shading makes it look more appealing than typical bucket fills. Regardless of the pack itself, good luck in the continuation.
Sometimes simple can be better. I like how the Nether looks. I think the log and leaf textures could be done better, though. The leaves look like metal cages.

I want to stay true to Thinkr's concepts, but I will look at the leaves. I always like ways to improve the texture pack. THanks for the comment.

(koo-star-neek) The real numbers are countable and I CAN prove it. Cantor was wrong!
Leaves were tough, I couldn't get a good repeating pattern so I had to just put borders around them.
I agree, I have been playing and I really am having trouble finding a better pattern that does not look wrong. I have tried adding gaps in the edges at various intervals but none have looked good so far. I'll keep playing but the leaves stay unless I find something amazing.

looks pretty much like other texturepacks I saw (Simplecraft etc)
LOL. Since I didn't design it from the beginning I do not know but, yes, it does look similar. I can say to me most simplistic packs look the same. I will be differentiating Visibility over time, giving it a unique character. Thinkr has provided me with an excellent base to start from. Expect to see Visibility become very cool over the next months. Well, cool in my perspective

Leaves look terrible. Try making small squares instead of ugly boxes filled with scribbles. The rest looks good though!
The new leaves are in and I think they do look really good. You would not believe the number of different alternatives I tried. Question would anyone like me to try CTM to make the leaves even better?
I also added chickens. I am surprised they were not in Visibility before.

"And with that, POW! I'm gone." ---Lord Crump
That is not his fault, Thinkr (original poster) made the pack like that.
Developer, gamer, and a mediocre pixel artist.
You should really check out Dokucraft: TSC.
Original thread in my sig btw.

Curse PremiumJust one suggestion...
CHANGE THE CHEST TEXTURE!
Every simple pack EVER has had that chest texture, and I hate it!
Other then that it all looks pretty damn good.
