Shown: The start of the bottom half, without roses, in various states of shaded. Disregard the roses on the left, they're just there for reference when I start drawing roses onto the bushes.
So, I'm having this problem with Stained glass panes, where they're completely solid.
as you can see from the diamond ores in the background, I have MCpatcher installed, and I have downloaded the latest version of MCpatcher (4.3.0). Can I get some help or suggestions on how to fix this please?

Panes are currently bugged in MCPatcher, there's nothing I can do about it. It should be fixed soon.
Ray, I see the MCPatcher's thread from time to time and saw that you're very present there... Would be nice if you could notify everyone here once the bug with the lines in glass is fixed, maybe?

The only glass related bug MCPatcher has now is the one Kry11ic just mentioned about stained glass not being transparent (due to ignoring partial transparency)
Actually the lines are a mojang issue, it's just really obvious on CTM because of the borders. But it has been fixed in 1.7.3. https://mojang.atlas...browse/MC-37106

LOL I thought it was a thing with mcpatcher due to it being on beta etc, but I'm glad they've fixed thx
Apparently, I was wrong, MC changed around a bit how they handle glass with the new panes and I was unaware of the issue. Thus, it was all my fault! (doh!). With the help of Kahr (MCPatcher Author), all glass panes are now fixed.
..enjoy!
NOTE: If you use the Seamless Glass Patch Pack you will also have to redownload the latest build of that pack as well!

I've downloaded both the main and the glass pack, but the lines are still there... Need to re-patch the .jar?
there here, I don't have experience with texturing, so I might confuse a (lot) few things, sorry
Oh yeah, that's the 1.7.2 bug, actually *all* the CTM textures on that side are flipped, you just can't tell because the rest are symmetrical along the Y axis.
I can't even put in a quick fix, by flipping the textures the "wrong" way to force them to line up correctly, because then the other side would be end up flipped. All we can do is wait for 1.7.3. :/
It's a little easier to see/understand on other CTM blocks, like CTM redstone blocks in my Connected Ores patch pack. One side is fine, the other side, *all* the textures are flipped along the Y axis. You just can't tell with the center textures because they have Y-Axis symmetry, but the sides/corners do not. :/
When you look at that, then look at the bug in the link up above, you'll notice it's actually the same problem.
THAT'S what I'm wanting to say! So this is doesn't have to do with packs or mcpatcher at all, but to the game itself. Thanks so much for the explanation
All I'll do is cross the fingers so 1.7.3 comes very soon then.
Obviously, I love this resource pack, is the best of world!
.. one more flower!
- Allium Flowers
..enjoy!
It's actually hard to enjoy when some of textures are default. But this is good.
Slowly but surely, I'll get there.
Biggest downside is the dev time on this pack, I have to draw 9 of almost everything.

Are you talking about the lines on the left and right side of the glass? If so, that's still the texture flipping bug in 1.7.2 :/
But the solid pane issue is fixed now.

But it's totally this bug doing it:

Thanks again
Me too!
It makes it really annoying to make those fancy "official" screenshots I do when I release updates. :/
I've only redesigned these rose bushes 30 times. I'll eventually finish them.
