I'm interested in making a Texture Pack Review for this Texturepack, If I did could you put it on the front post/ Any reason I should wait like upcoming textures to be added?
Please respond soon.
You're more than welcome to do a review and I'd be more than happy to put it on the OP, most of the blocks are now complete. But since it's still in it's alpha stages I would recommend doing a second re-review down the road once it's complete. I plan to do a total reskin so it may be several months before it's 100% completed across the board (Skies, blocks, items, GUI, mobs, etc)
But, it's totally good enough for an Alpha review now. I'd be happy to post your video here, and on my Texture Pack page on my website. Then update it with a newer video once the pack is 100% completed.
EDIT: I actually planned to support all the reviewers by making a while section dedicated to user reviews (Video or otherwise). So everyone is welcome to post their reviews and I'll put them up.

Alright, I'll have a video uploaded in the next 2 weeks depending on technical things.
Thanks!

Be nice to get a few videos down the road. This is a good place to start. I was going to do a "Silent walk through" video of my pack when it was completed, but if I get enough user reviewers that won't be necessary.
This is an extremely nice TP. I believe Sphax is number one right now with the most community support for so much mods. Seeing how your TP is very similar to his, I can see a community forming as well. Please, keep up the good work and hope you get a community growing soon too. Understanding that this is only still alpha, I would suggest doing something like what sphax does- include support for specific mods out there in your original TP. Mods like tech mods would definitely be a plus as its vanilla artwork is just too different from your artistic rendering. I would easily argue that if someone mismatch & combine your art and sphax's art, a new minecrafter would have no idea that they were two different packs. You sir, are incredible at illustrating! Would love to see how your mobs come about.

I do plan some mod support down the road, although I have not devised a gameplan yet for it.
I'd like to do all the textures myself, I love communities coming together and helping build up the pack, but I have a lot of very specific design rules I follow to make this pack look the way it does and it would be *very* hard to enforce those rules in a friendly community environment without coming off as an a-hole.
Although I will figure out how to get mod support going regardless.
If you're curious, some of the rules I follow as I build this pack are:
- No more than 5 colors per main texture color body. I know, confusing! For example; no more than 5 colors to make cobblestone, stone, stone bricks, but if I make Mossy stone bricks I get 5 colors for the bricks and 5 for the moss. With ores, 5 for the stone, and 5 for the ore. ..and with a chest, I get 5 colors for the wood, and 5 for the metal parts. Typically though this works out to 4 colors and a border.
- No ultra-fine brush strokes, 3px size minimum on large tiles and 2px on items.
- 9 versions of every single texture unless game mechanic limitations will not allow it. For example, there's 9 versions of every single block in the game, except for water and lava. Because you can't animate *and* have random textures, the engine just won't allow it last I tried... and I'd rather animate 1 block than have 9 versions unanimated.
- No changing the basic design of the original default block. My bricks, planks, slabs all are build up using the same colors and shapes of the original. That way, everyone's build will look good in both defaults and my pack.
- No cheating! Almost all textures only use basic Photoshop's drawing tools like the brush, eraser and bucket fill tool. Not counting non-drawing tools like the select tools, drag, cut/copy, crop, splice, and layers of course. That would just be silly. I just won't use any filters, blending or quick lazy things that take away from the real artistic value.
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head, but it would be very demanding of me to ask someone else to follow those almost OCD rules.. But it works great for me!
Simply gorgeous. Really wish I could use this. Maybe one day if I ever play vanilla minecraft I'll give this pack a shot. Keep up the excellent work. And that ice is the best looking ice I've ever seen.
