ok, noob question, can someone tell me what CIT means please?
"Custom Item Texture", it allows you to assign multiple textures to different items that normally would share the same texture. For example, the potions all share only 2 textures by default (empty bottle, and the liquid), CIT allows you to give each potion it's own texture.
Another (more simple) example is coal and charcoal from 1.5 and back, when they used to share the same texture. You could use CIT to force charcoal to have another texture.
I am working on a new official website for the SixtyGig pack! The link is just an early rough draft, no links work quite yet. But it's coming along nicely.

1. Download MCPatcher here: http://www.minecraft.../topic/1496369-
2. Close minecraft, if it's open.
3. Doubleclick on the MCPatcher file you downloaded in step 1.
4. Hit Patch.
5. Done! Go do next set of steps below.
(Standard for all packs)
1. Download the pack (Kinda no brainer there! )
2. Open up minecraft
3. Go to Options -> Resource Packs -> Open Resource Pack Folder. A folder should open.
4. Put the file you downloaded in step 1, inside the folder that opened in step 3.
5. Go back into MC, select the pack.
6. Enjoy

They changed the code in Minecraft so charcoal and coal could have separate textures.
It's their game? They changed the code.
This.
I need to finish the pack first before any sort of mods will be considered.

huh, that's very strange. it works fine for me?
I'll look into it, I may have a slightly older version of MCPatcher than you do (or vice versa)
Yeah, it looks like the latest MCPatcher changed up the CIT mod a bit, I'll have it fixed in the next update.
Also fixed empty bottles in the latest MCPatcher! (Thanks EVILfaizanghani for finding the error!)
Curse has been acting up as of late, so if the curse link isnt working (or sending you to an old version) use my mirror.
