The glass unfortunately looks like that because of the Optifine. It lacks the better CTM that MCPatcher has.

Eventually I'll make a new glass specifically for Optifine users, but until then, use MCPatcher unless you absolutely need Optifine. You can actually install both, and use MCPatcher's CTM function and optifine's everything else. But it's a complicated process (that I believe changed in 1.6)
Yep in 1.6, is different. :/ I already had tried to modify the glass texture but the opacity of pixel isn't compatible with the glass texture (
at least without use CTM mcpatcher)

Yeah, Optifine is really lacking in the CTM department, it's really annoying because a lot of people "need" optifine, and refuse to use MCPatcher. I may have to change my class entirely to support Optifine and MCPatcher just for that very reason, but then we'd lose that nice, shiny alpha-blended glass.
this a random idea that i dont is posible but can you use connected textures to make a better transition from a trunk of a tree to the branches that hang from them? agian a random idea but please answer. and if so and he ads that it would be amazing.
and on another subject greatest pack i have seen by far. FAITHFUL+SPHAXS= awsome great job
BTW, great pack, I'm a late-to-the-party minecrafter, just got on board a couple of months ago and this is pack I finally landed on, everything is great and just keeps getting better.
With the release of the 1.6.2 Bukkit Beta Build, most of the remaining 1.5 servers will now be moving to 1.6, so I will no longer be maintaining this texture pack for 1.5.2!
From here on out, I will only be updating the 1.6.x (and beyond) version of the Resource pack! I apologize to anyone who may still be using 1.5, but there really is no logical reason to maintain the 1.5 version anymore now that a majority of players have moved to 1.6 and 1.5's texture pack model is unique to only that one single version of Minecraft.

I did some really minor tweaks to the 1.6 versions, and put the 1.5 "final" version on curse, nothing worth downloading to be honest. I'm just transferring the 1.5 download to curse and pulling it off my webserver since it's no longer going to be maintained.
So really no, you don't need to update it at the moment.

Honestly never really put much thought into them yet, looking at them now they probably would be one of the easier blocks to texture. I might see if I can knock them out this weekend.
