This is a great texture pack! With no intention of being rude, might I ask if you have an ETA for when all of the textures will be completed?
I honestly have no idea. This is my first texture pack, so it's really up in the air for me what obstacles I run into. Some things go a lot easier, other things end up being a lot more time consuming than expected. :/
Hey, so I had this idea for an animation you could do with the Netherrack (just a suggestion, you can take it or leave it). I noticed that the Netherrack looks like it has this hard webbing on the outer part, and has this illusion that there's this gooey, organ-like substance on the inside of the block (which I love, btw). I was thinking for the animation, have that gooey, organs-like substance be slithering and pulsing around, you know? Like it's alive or something, I think that would look awesome. But like I said, take it or leave it, up to you. Still love this texture pack, and love what you're doing with it

Love the idea, although if I do it down the road that would be something that would have to be in the alt texture pack, because it'll probably push the already borderline "not faithful" texture over the edge.
Thanks, I'm glad you like the idea, and personally, I don't mind that it would kinda stray onto the "not-so-faithful"path, but I can understand that you would have have to option to keep that semi-faithful. I hope to see it in the future though, and thank you for considering my idea

in the somewhat distant future I'm going to start taking pack tweaks/alter requests and put them in one large pack of alt textures that people can mix-and-match into their copy of SixtyGig for people who want the defaulty-look, but with some added flare.
It also allows me to have fun and release variations of blocks I want to do but really don't fit into the pack.. Like maybe different plank wood patterns (like diagonal or crosshatch), or adding more fancy CTM to things like quartz blocks, so you can make actual pillars with tops and bottoms.
that's sounds awesome with the alter packs idea (for some reason, the Quote button, nor cope/paste works on here) and I'm really looking forward to it!
Finally! I'm back in business! The anvil GUI has been added.
Sorry for the delay in updates over the past week, my college workload increased tremendously and I simply had no time to keep up with my server, the pack *and* my school. Something sadly, had to give.

But it's a really cool idea non-the-less!
To be honest, I don't think this deviates far from the "faithful" concept anyway. I would love to see this, as long as it was not so obnoxious to look at in large quantities (since, y'know, the Nether is mostly Netherrack). I think it would be interesting to do and see people's reactions for - it isn't as though you are changing the piece to something totally different. Keep with the color scheme and add a subtle animation and it would still probably fit the theme of Minecraft, and your pack, nicely.
Just a thought.

Lol, thanks
I think.

yeah yeah.
I have a silly little "art" project I have to do for a college class I'm taking at the moment, sadly, it's gobbling up my Photoshop time right now. :/
Trust me, I'm annoyed by it too!
