Loving this texture pack, I'm checking it everyday.
What's your plan for the 13w24 resource pack update? I'm guessing you'll wait for MCPatcher (and CTM especially) to update before converting to the new format?
Nail on the head. Until MCPatcher's CTM catches up, I'll be sticking with 1.5.x
But it's super easy to convert a 1.5 pack to 1.6 if you don't mind losing the CTM, so for the time being die-hard fans can still just convert it and use it anyway, but of course they'll lose all the CTM.
Wooo! Items.
I don't think this has been answered before... so, does this support connected textures?
With optifine, or something. Connecting slabs, bookshelves, glass, etc?

This texture pack is.. practically all connected textures. Like, that's the soul of the thing.
Although it's best used with MCpatcher instead of opitifine, which doesn't support some of the features it utilizes.

This texture pack currently features over 150 textures with either standard CTM (Like you see on Glass) or random CTM (Randomized textures). If you download the pack, open up the /CTM/ folder, every single subfolder in there is a texture with CTM support.
I believe it currently holds the record for most CTM support of any texture pack ever created.

Yes, which is awesome. I was talking about textures like sandstone, connecting the bottom and top so it doesn't have that weird stripe on the top of every block, only the top. I'll see if I can get Optifine to work with MCpatcher and try it out myself though, thanks.

Ah, well the standard CTM is currently on Glass and Ice, as Vertical (similar to standard, but only up/down) is on Sugarcane and Ladders. I do plan to eventually CTM for bookshelves (Horizontal), vines (Vertical), log's top texture (Texture-match replace) and cactus (Vertical).. possibly slabs as well, but that one's up in the air. I'll probably also add some other CTM methods down the road as they seem logical. For example I've been tossing around the idea of vertical CTM on logs so they have a "top" and "bottom" part of the trees. But I'm worried it'll make builds that utilize logs look funny.
Keep in mind though, even though vertical CTM on sandstone looks wonderful because it gets rid of those lines on every single block, it's not a faithful look. Doing too much of that kinda stuff, while cool looking, takes away from the packs true-to-default look that makes the pack so popular. :/
But, don't fret! After the pack is completed I'll start taking edit requests and put them in a second Alt-pack people can download. So things like your Sandstone CTM you want, would be in that pack.
This! I can't even begin to explain to you how many times I've had to say "Don't use Optifine unless you have to!!!".. I feel like a broken record. They're not the same!
Oh, okay. That makes sense, and that log idea might be kind of cool. Just to see.
yeah, my idea with logs was to give them a overgrown-grassy stump for the base, and somehow make the top look like a trunk top (not sure on how to do that part yet be honest)
I was just concerned that used in builds, it might mess up the uniformity of certain builds. Chances are I won't do it in the main pack, but it's another good option for the alt pack someday
Working on cakes, they have 4 textures that all use CTM, so I have to draw 45 textures to finish them.
I hope to have them done tomorrow though. I have the top and side base partially done, the inside and bottom should be cakewalk (hah!). But I'm trying to make 9 totally different colors/patterns of sides and tops so you get kinda the same effect you get on the enchanting table where theres 9x9 combinations.

Next update please add chests.
Of course. I mean like Sandstone, if you put one on top of the other they don't connect.

I was going to go back and animate some down the road (Like make the glistering melon sparkle).
I like the slimeball idea, might do that too.
=(
