Love the texture pack.
when you finish the standard textures, Are you going to work on textures for mods like ExtraBiomesXL and The Twlilght Forest etc?
Also What is the game you are working on if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks for the textures, Awesome.
Keep up the good work.
If I'm understanding what you're saying, you're saying the *entire* screen goes blank? If so, it sounds like you're running out of memory. MC is notorious for memory leaks when you swap out texture packs constantly in-game. :/
No, no, that's not what's happening. I'm sorry, I should have been clearer on what I said. My bad. The entire screen does not blank out, the textures in the game blank out, leaving a white surface. What's happening, is I'm in-game, staring at a wall, and there's no texture on the wall, it's just plain white. I have a screen shot of me looking into my Enchantment room. You can see the book part of the enchantment table and the pictures, but the table, bookshelves, and the Jukebox are just plain white, no textures of any kind. Then after a while, the game crashed. I closed it down, waited five minutes, then started it back up, and it was fine. Then later in the day, the textures blanked out again. I closed down MC, again waited five minutes, then started it back up and it was fine.

Here's an image (I hope this works):

It looks like you ran out of memory while loading the texture pack. Although I've never seen it happen quite like that. Does it happen every time you load SixtyGig or just when you reload it after another pack in-game?
Hi, I have a question, why the glass only stays bluish w/ the MCpatcher? Why you don't make it on the TP?
The glass uses 2 textures per block. (The frame and the actual glass). The frame has to be loaded first, and Optifine's not-to-par CTM ignores the second texture (the glass).
I also don't think Optifine's CTM supports Alpha blending, but I'm not sure.

I found this thread on combining MCPatcher + Optifine to get the best of both. I tried it out last night with a fresh install and it seems to be working lovely for me so far (boosts of Optifine with textures (including glass) of MCPatcher)! Figured others might like to try: http://www.minecraft...0#entry21630392
Hey, I did this MCpatcher/optifine combination. But I'm still having a problem w/ the ctm folder, if I delete the ctm folder, the TP works, but it doesn't have the Connected Textures.
Love the texture pack.

I would like it if he did those as well as Thaumcraft 3

The game is a hybrid dungeon crawler/harvest moon survival type game, 100% pure java programming from scratch. But the details are a bit too complicated to discuss here.
The game is actually on hold until I finish this texture pack. Although, in a round about way it's not, because a lot of these textures I may use in the game. But either way; the programming side is on hold at the moment.
As far as mod support goes, yes I plan mod support. But *what* mods and in *what* order I haven't even started to plan. I'm focusing all of my attention on just getting the base pack done. I'll worry about mods when the time comes.

I'm at a *total* loss as to what's wrong. I really have no idea anymore. It has to be something strange on your end, I've never had anyone else have that problem and I can't replicate it myself.
You could try backing up .minecraft, deleting the entire folder, redownload the texture pack and MCPatcher. Repatch the game and see if it works. If it does, start over and try to MCPatcher/Optifine mix and cross your fingers?

Yea, that might be the problem. My laptop is running with 4GBs of memory, and no way of upgrading the memory.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!
MInecraft by default uses around 1/2 a gig. You should be able to up it to a full gig. I know I was able to on my old laptop with 4gb.
You can also force MC to use more memory by making a .bat file and running it instead of minecraft.exe.
Whereever your minecraft.exe (NOT the jar) is, make a minecraft.bat file with this in it:
java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar "Minecraft.exe"
You can also change out 2048 with 4096 to use 4gb, or even 8192 for 8gb. But the above will be enough for almost anyone.
When I work on the texture pack, I'm constantly reloading the pack in-game and I have to run the above bat file else I overload Minecraft every 4-5 texture pack reloads.. and I have 16gb of ram! As long as you have more than a gig free on your system for Minecraft to use it's going to cap at that limit, it won't matter how much *more* you have unless you force MC to use it. Even you guys running off 4gb may be able to get a little more use out of your memory by using the bat file.
Coming back and this just keeps getting better. It's been said before, but I'll say it again, I'm really looking forward to see how you'll do the items.

Animated Torches, Redstone Torches added, particles.png 50% complete (Potion splash, flame, smoke, hearts, bubbles, and water blobs) and Redstone Wire improved!
At every update I get more and more anxious!
(Also some new images of the various animations!)
