Couldn't you just resize the textures yourself as needed?
Get the default and resize. All the textures you need are in Minecraft.jar, and you should know how to get them if you don't already so you can keep up with new updates.

i was hoping someone had it done already, would i need the hd patcher?
As of 1.5, all resolutions are supported by default without any third party tools. MCPatcher should be used for a lot of additional features, but an HD texture pack doesn't require an HD Patcher anymore.
I should mention that any threads that don't produce a texture pack (with screenshots and a download), should go in the texture discussion subforum, this includes questions, help, etc.
