i want to make a texture pack but im not very "artistic" but i know how to make a texture pack. so i was wondering if anyone wanted to send me textures that YOU created because editing a texture pack to include textures from other texture packs (except default) is frowned upon on websites that you can post texture packs on (like planetminecraft.com). so if i get any textures from anybody i will pick the good ones and hopefully send them the finished pack. Any takers? im talking about 16x16 block textures. and not all textures but a block in particular.
What you could do is make one using popular textures BUT, ask for permission. Most users will not hand out textures for random people. And this kind of post belongs in Texture Discussion.
Excuse me, but are you asking for anyone to make textures that they have put hard work into just so that you can use them? Although you may not be very "artistic" there are plenty of free software applications such as GIMP 2, Paint.NET, or if you already have it Photoshop that can help you do that. I'll probably post a tutorial on how to easily create textures, but these programs are easy to use and fun to mess around with and figure out stuff all on your own. Just don't take or use anyone else's work. It's not fair to them if they put in work for your own profit.
I may be also a little new here, but I've been making a texture pack and it's enjoyable to see my creations come to life.

That may be so, but the point is that you have to be the creator of the textures to go around distributing them. You don't have to have any background in art to start making textures. In fact, when I started out, I was terrible. I had no artistic skill whatsoever. But, I've come a long way. You just need to practice. On another note, no one (and I mean no one) is going to hand over their textures to you so you can stitch them together and redistribute them. That's about as creative as using a customizer.
Then you've never made a texture or seen one, try making a decent texture in 2 minutes. More like hours to weeks.
no ive made a decent texture but i liked other textures better so why make a texture pack if u would rather use somebody elses texture pack? some people dont know how or dont want to try to make a texture pack but might want to see there creation in a texture pack.

That's what GIMP and Paint.NET is for. Messing around with a texture until you get the one that looks decent and original.
Also, just because someone makes stuff and posts it up here doesn't mean you get to use it.
