1, If you are going to bucket fill the blocks, you should actually make it 1x1, as in reduce the physical size of the terrain.png to 16x16 pixels, otherwise it will not increase FPS, which is the main attraction to extreme LD packs.
2, The .zip archive currently won't work if you put it in the texturepacks folder, because you zipped the folder of the pack. The highest directory of the .zip archive should be the files and folders from the pack. So you need to select the files and folders and zip those, not their containing folder.
This has been done before, so I doubt you will get much publicity out of this...
Additionally, screenshots in the opening post are also required. This is how to upload screenshots in case you aren't aware of how.
