I'm trying to work on the flowing water/flowing lava animations. I have to dismantle them and put them back together again. It takes me about an hour or so for each of them, so I have to get enough time to just sit and copy/paste things around.
As for the rest of those, I'm not sure if they could be fixed. I'm pretty sure that the door and chests are Minecraft render bugs and not the textures alone. I might be able to fix the door, but it would lose it's symmetry. What Minecraft does is instead of having a separate texture for the edges of the doors, it takes a strip off of the regular texture of them.
The wood textures also look like something Minecraft is doing...it's like the texture was flipped the other direction. If I'm wrong and someone does know how to fix it, I'm all ears.
I'm hoping to have all of the new random/CTM textures done and ready for upload by Sunday. I'm coming to the end of a class tomorrow, so I'm not promising anything then.
Hi CuddleWoozle, first, I want to thank you for keeping Summerfields alive, you have done an amazing job, so thanks a lot (:
Second, I have a doubt: String placed on the ground doesn't seem to have a texture, it looks the same as the block without it, is this on purpose or is it a missing texture?
There is a texture for the string, it's just super hard to see. I didn't do that one, Lithium did. I'll probably make an alternate version that makes it a bit more visible for people who like to use it as a decoration (or who just don't like walking into traps. XD)
And yes, I know the new snapshot is out with horses and all that good stuff, but the launcher apparently hates my computer and throws a tantrum. I'll have to see what I can do about getting my hands on the new textures so I have something to work from.
And for the video makers: I am never -ever- going to get mad at you for using the texture pack and making videos. It's just nice if you let other people know where to get it from!
