I've started a new job. I'll be working eight hour shifts, usually six days a week. So this cuts down on time that I have to work on textures. I'm still going to try and do some, but I can't promise anything outside of the fact that I will be keeping the main pack up to date.
When I'm not working I have college coursework to do, so I only have time to work on textures when I'm between classes.
I made a lot of changes, in addition to all the new textures.
These are only suggestions.
Please look good and leave messages to say what is not appropriate.

I've got optifine installed but my endermen and spiders are still white :/

AHA, I fixed it. It's because the spidereyes.png is not black!
Here's the image for fix if anyone else is still having the same problem. Just replace it with the current spidereyes.png [and rename it the same]
Really like this resource pack, easily amongst my favorites.

Ah well sorry, I hadn't seen that he asked us not to ask when he would release an update. However, I was not asking for nor pressuring it to be updated, I just wanted to know when it might be ready is all. No crime in that.
Gah! I'm so so so so sorry everyone. My wireless card crapped out on me and I've been without internet access. I lost access right after 1.7 came out but before I could grab the update.
I'm going to go through and see what needs to be done, but it looks like Lipki has kept everyone in the loop in my absence. (And for that I say THANK YOU SO MUCH.)
I remember using this pack before and I also remember how during dusk/dawn there would be a violet hue. Now, I have the pack but it's not doing that, it's just regular dusk/dawn. I dont know how to edit or change the lightmap because the pack has changed with the recent updates and the lightmaps aren't where they used to be. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, that violet hue thing?
He was by no means pressuring the OP to update the pack. He was simply wondering when the estimated time for an update is, not going "OMG UPDATE PLZZZ".
