Just came back to check how things are going. Regarding your furnace question, Ockniel, I personally like it. It isn't perfect' but I enjoy the more industrial/bouldery looking furnaces. It is probably just my personal opinion though.
I'm not a big fan of the cactus though, It would look more realistic if it had needles, and not shurikens stuck in it. (No offense) Also the furnace would look great if you made the top industrial part, as dark as the bottom cobblestone bit.
Never mind about the furnace. Just looked back at it, and the colours are the same. I would make the cobble bit blend into the stone part, instead of just like this.

Thanks! I'll probably be reworking the furnace, so expect some updated pictures of it in the future!

Yeah, I haven't been totally sold on the furnace either. I may actually end up going back and reworking it to include some industrial elements, since that seems to be the prefered style of most.
Man, this pack is really good! I shall be bookmarking this thread. I'd love to be able to use this whenever you make it available! Keep up the good work, man! Looks like you have quite a few supporters, haha!
I'm thinking I'll release a beta version once I've finished all of the main tiles. That way I can have ya'll test it while I work on icons and items. I'll probably also include everyone's name who tested it in the final build!
I need some input on this snow. How is it? Should I change it? Does it look weird? I don't know what to think here, I'm really at a loss. Please, be harsh!
Well if you look at snow, it's usually white, and doesn't cast much of a shadow on itself so shading is hard, and has its own noise when it's fallen, so this looks good enough, seeing at other snow textures. Mine for instance just looks like snowballs put side by side and doesn't even look real unlike this one.
I'm afraid the snow looks way too good for me to actually find any criticisms about it.
Haha, thank you very much! To be fair, though, I've gone through and updated that image several times since it was originally posted. It was pretty iffy when it started
Looks very good so far! Are you going to add the faces into the soulsand like the default textures, or leave it how it is currently? Either way, it looks very nice! Looking forward to a release!

Thank you very much!
And sorry, slipping in one more pic, I really like this one!
Nonetheless, great pack.
Click it or it will die...A cold painful death.

None taken! I'll give it a tweak. Thanks for the suggestion!

Not a lot to report today, I've been sick for a couple days (which is no bueno). Anyways, here are some updated brush, ferns, and vines:
