Have you ever wanted a texture pack that completely reworked the game and looked absolutely different from what you were used to?Didn't think so either. So I created this texture pack.It contains a lot of blocks that Minecraft has, while allowing for improvement. Here are some pretty pictures, plus the download link.http://adf.ly/ISvTCThe direct download link is at the end of the post.
The texture pack is a work in progress, however,it's starting to come together.I recommend using the Curse Client if you want it,because Curse allows you to automatically update this texture pack.
If you don't feel like waiting an extra five seconds for the download, here's the direct download. http://www.curse.com...raft-16x/671913

I understand that this is a vanilla cover, but I'm not an excellent pixel artist and I am still learning how to be good at texture pack creation. If I get better,I would like to create a texture pack with a very warm feeling, similar to GreatWood.
Hmm, as farad I know, greatwood is more like the opposite of the texture pack your making. It's a theme, not simple, and has a warm feeling. I would suggest you use your pixel skills to make a new theme, a warmer kind. Instead of using the terrain as your main texturepack, try to use it as a template for a new pack. Maybe draw out future textures, because drawing out on paper for me makes real textures rather then using a mouse on a computer(sadly not both). Instead of making a simple pack, make a pack with themes like yours, because making a simply pck is easier than making the minecraft textures.
I would suggest to maybe turn this pack into a minecraft default alternative. Like use your skills to change the diamond ore patterns, and re-mix the stone to a different style(warmer, because you indicated you liked warm textures). You can make the grass a bit brighter and more cheerful, and making start on a wood that looks bright(as in fun and cheerful, not literally bright in light level). You can make the wool into something like a carpet. I could make a crafting table alternative, as I first made a teutr in that. I succeeded, except I didn't use the same color as the tools, and screwed up a little, but I got the shape right. So just make a new style rather than simplifying it.

You know what Synthesizer, you might be a huge asset to this pack.Could you please upload any of the alts that you were mentionign to this topic?I could see if I want any of them.
Just wanted to say that we got over 350 500 downloads!Keep them coming, guys! Also,I've updated the texture pack with very minor updates.
Added new textures for tools in hotbars, and changed the sun to be bigger.
C'mon, gimme some love!Somebody please give me a comment,or else this thread will shrivel up and an admin will lock it up.We have over 600 downloads!Next update comes in a week.
Much too basic. Needs a lot of improvement. Try actually adding some shading to the side of the textures, or develop a style. This is a poorly made vanilla edit. :/
I somewhat feel ashamed and insulted to have my texture pack degraded like this, but as much as I hate to say it,I do feel the same way everyone else feels.I will continue this pack, but I will start work on a different pack which actually has STYLE!Anyways, exciting changes on the way!The update to 1.5 means native support for higher-resolution textures. While I don't think I should go to 32x32 for any of the blocks,I am converting items to 32x32,which has been forcing me to release this much much later than I said it would.I will also be attempting to add animation, but expect that in the next next update.
