EDIT: This thread is going to be temporarily floating around HERE until enough is done to post a download link!
(I hope... I can post a WIP in this forum. I don't know where the WIP texture pack subforum took off to :\ )
Because of my terrible problems with looking at too much info at a time, I was always terrified of the big terrain.png.
Not any more!
This is my first motivated attempt at creating a texture pack, and I've already made it further than just changing the stone and dirt textures. I decided since MC will support multi-resolution textures because of the division, I'd go ahead and make important things more detailed (generally 32x), while other things (torches, levers, etc) that didn't need the same level of detail only the base 16x to conserve on memory and pack space, especially since I'm animating things that I feel should be animated.
The concepts behind this texture pack are divided between two things. For the natural blocks, such as stone, dirt, and ores, I simply want them to be how I find them to be appealing--fairly natural looking with a tad bit of artistic fantasy. The manufactured blocks (especially redstone) I am taking an approach with to make them feel more sci-fi industrial-ish, such as with the redstone lamp comprised of a bunch of small, round, yellowy-orange lights.
So far, the following terrain textures are completed (16 out of 251 texture files, roughly 6%) :

Ahh! Thank you. Don't know how I totally missed that. I'll get a topic going over there.
