i would like to thank you for all the time and effort you have put into this map. I started making my own custom resource pack via custom textures and using textures from other resource packs (I never plan to make the pack public) since minecraft version 1.8. your map has been a very crucial component in the making of my resource pck and i would just like to thank you for making resource pack making super easy and organized.
He was last active Jun, 24 2017 according to his profile, but he might not be updating this map anymore. Are there any other maps that are updated where you can test and showcase your resourcepacks?

Though I am not very active in Minecraft anymore - I basically retired from the game, you will be happy to hear I have updated the Test Map to 1.12 and will be releasing is back to you guys soon.
There is quite a bit of work gone into the update. I have added all the new mobs and blocks as usual. I have also fixed all the broken commands from Mojang changes in 1.11
I don't know if this will be my last Minecraft endeavor, but at least you'll be able to see a bunch of Johnny Vindicators take on a Wither.

I did find a mistake, though. In the 'mob display' section, you have the new parrots on display and the left sign is wrong. It says 'bats ->' and should be 'parrots ->'. The sign on the right is correct. I did go to the bats and both the signs there are correct (bats).

I hope someone will at least continue after you. I don't think there's any other resourcepack test map for 1.12, let alone 1.11...
I would want to update the map but my dad always keeps a close watch on my computer time. And there is homework.

Curse PremiumI've updated the map for 1.12.1.
The main reason for this was to ready the map as it will be added to Realms.
Notable updates include better multiplayer interactivity, redesigned the greenhouse with crop growth stages, added the shulker bullet.
A number of other fixes were implemented. You can view the full list of updates on curse.
