It was a bit of a silly question, so I'm going to support the use of sarcasm in this situation. Well done Miopic.
BTW, the primary download for this pack is now on Curse. I'm hoping to get a bit of revenue without resorting to using adf.ly, and their program seems worth a shot. I'll drop it if I don't like something about it (other than my user name on Curse being "AlvoriaGPM" because "Alvoria" was already taken... somehow. ). Anyway, please use the Preferred Download from now on.
I'll try to have an updated version out... sometime. Just gotta figure out what I want to work on with this pack since I've been devoting a lot of time to other projects recently.
I don't know what the revenue's like on adf.ly but curse seems to be a good alternative, it seems to earn 1 point per 100 downloads so good luck in getting some good revenue
So in order to get the minimum reimbursement, $10 at Amazon, I need 200 points which, according to your guestimate, translates to about 20,000 downloads. So based on my current rate, I'll be able to get something in about... four years. Yay.
We'll see. If the numbers on Curse are accurate, just using their service has escalated the rate of distribution by several fold! So that's how you got so popular so fast.
like the hay and the tether, as for the horse I have ideas seeing as how there are multiple horses
1. White horse with brown spot and green eyes.
2. Black horse with blue eyes.
3. Skeletal steed

Thanks for the feedback on two of the four things in the pic.
But seriously, what do you think of the horses I posted?
I have my own ideas for how I want horses to look, thanks. As for the skeletal one, there is an unused horse skeleton texture in the .jar. I'll wait to see what they do with it.
Nice horse. Looks pretty realistic for being default texture. Same for the hay bales. Although I can barely see what the tether looks like, (it's not a noticeable texture in the first place) from what I can see, it looks quite like a rope!
Is that the new villager you're showing off? Because it looks much better than what I remember, and it's even more livable even with the blue head.
Also, for some reason the new version doesn't seem to want to work for me. I guess I'll try it again...

Thank you for the feedback! I was a little worried that people wouldn't like it, but you've made me feel better about going forward with the rest of the horses. Thank you!

Yes, it is. I'm glad you noticed.
Of the defaults, all of the villagers except the butcher are getting redesigned or tweaked in some way. Some are subtle like the blacksmith getting different arm bands, while the farmer (pictured) got a complete redesign in his outfit. I'm thinking of making a set for each biome. Well, not every biome as a few will be shared (anything with snow will share a single set, for example).
Also, for some reason the new version doesn't seem to want to work for me. I guess I'll try it again...
To what are you referring? The download or the textures? I haven't added any of this new stuff in an available download yet because I'm not finished with it yet, so it won't show up in the snapshot. If it's the download let me know and I'll take a look at it.
It's the minecraft version that's giving me troubles. I can use the launcher just fine, but the actual minecraft window is stuck at the Mojang screen and is not responding.

This really isn't the place for me to try to help you troubleshoot, but I'll make the offer to help via PM if you'd like. You're probably better off posting in the tech support section, though.
Great work on the horse it looks so much better than the default horses as does the hay bale
Thanks! They took me forever! Seriously, at least ten hours total on just the horses, and probably another ten on the donkey, muel, and armor. I'm used to being able to knock out new blocks in an hour. Two hours tops.
Speaking of something that took me the better part of a day:
Hmmm... anvils that show damage over the entire surface. Yup! And I'm darn proud of it!
Again great work on the anvils I really like how they look more used, damaged and dirty each time.
Glad you like them. I got really sick of how my anvils looked in the previous versions. I really wanted an anvil that would not only look good, but that I could tell how damaged it was from across the room. Fortunately, CTM was able to help me out with that.
Yes Shadowrobinx, it's a pretty amazing set of textures. It's almost as if someone spent a great deal of time and effort to make sure those anvils would look great.
no malcolm you can't promote his texture pack by using a banner he has for the public to use to promote the pack if they like it.
yeah I guess I didn't really need to ask that
ummm yeah

ModeratorOK, I need some SERIOUS feedback on this accursed mob texture. I'm sick as sin of looking at it, and need a fresh pair of eyes:
Also, there are three other new things in that image besides the horse. See if you can spot them.
Feed back is
appreciatedREQUIRED!1. White horse with brown spot and green eyes.
2. Black horse with blue eyes.
3. Skeletal steed

It's eyes are black. The dark area on the side of the head. Sorry, but horses just have dark eyes like that.

Curse PremiumThat is all I can think of to say. Now to figure out how to make a mix of styles in one texture. I'm going in. Without my targeting computer, FYI.

We sit in dark rooms staring at blocks for hours on end and that's what makes you worry about our eyesight?
But seriously, thanks for the compliment.

Use the force young Shadowreaperx.
