I'm going to seriously stop using this thread if nobody else is posting on it. Seriously, this is like a pentuple post.
The Iron Chests mod is pretty popular, right? It'll get people to comment, right?
I don't even really like this mod, but I had ideas for it so I went "meh, why not?" and textured it. Hopefully someone will appreciated it. If not... eh... not the first time I've wasted a couple of days on something.

Ok dude 49% of your threads action is back! haven't played minecraft in forever, me and my friends are going to start a story based series and i am gonna get them to get this pack for the series, hopefully that will give the thread attention, we just need to write a storyline... and wait for bukkit 1.7 to come out... and build a world with we... and wait for my skin for the series to be made... and get popular... and if that all happens before one of use gets bored you might find yourself with thousands of daily downloads, to bad it is probably gonna end at the whole building a world part...

So... basically I'd have better odds if I just got off my lazy butt and started my own channel then?
I do appreciate the sentiment, however, thought it might be more expedient for your channel to find something else to post while you're waiting for everything to fall together. Tell you what, once I finish getting my recording rig set up let's play an adventure map together. It'll be fun.
Time I checked in as well, I rarely play minecraft any more. Your revisions look great as well as the update additions especially the large oak, both the sapling and tree. Even though your feedback isn't frequent It's good to see the effort and thought still show in each texture. (:
A Texture Pack should always, first and foremost, be a gift from the artist to himself. I keep working on this because, for the most part, I keep enjoying it.
Yea, I wish the feedback were a little more frequent. Although I enjoy working on this, it feels like a bit of a downer when nobody else stops by to say "good job". Oh well. As long as working on it makes me happy.
i got my fraps set up whenever you want al :D, but actually we got he first episode up, we are just keeping away from the main story for a while, if you want i will send you a link, still got to get our recorder to start using santy... he is a stubborn one, though he does have either 150 or 500 subs, i forgot which one.

Sure send me a link.
I've basically just got to find time to finish getting Dxtory and Lightworks to play nice with each other. After that I'd like to get Virtual Audio Cables set up (would love to be chatting with someone on Skype while I do that so I can get a test run) so I can have proper audio channels for Multiplayer.
Hopefully I'll actually have time to get to that next week. Then again... I've been saying that for the last month so...
I just downloaded your pack. Congratulations on being the first pack I ever downloaded . I love the glass. I adore the views I am able to clearly see out my front window especially at sunrise
and sunset.
I've only been playing for nearly two weeks so there's alot that I havn't seen yet, but I like what I do see except for the cows, pigs, and the sheep. Their faces don't look like cows, pigs and sheep. I might replace those for my own use.
On that note, the chickens look great, the bats look amazing. I also love the water.

Most people don't seem to get that those aren't faces. Their eyes are on the sides of their heads. That said, I'll readily admit that mobs are my weak area. If you want to replace them, go ahead. Believe me, I'm not offended.
"Sanity" V.3.1.8 Is Now Available for Minecraft 1.7.2!
And also for Snapshot 13w48b!
New Features in this version include:
• Added support for mod: Ritual Enchanting
• Improved texture of enchanting table book
• Fixed potions looking weird when mixing packs while CIT is enabled
• Revised overworld light map
I am actually loving this pack, and I'm not a huge fan of 16x packs.
I don't really like the colour of the netherbrick though. I wish it was a little more red.

Personally oh great magi, i love the blue color, it differs from the others of thousands of texture packs, and blue is freaking awesome, my opinion

Thank you! I've had a few people tell me it looks more like a 32x pack, so maybe that's why. They way I do textures gives a sense of detail that's normally not possible in a 16x pack.
I'm all for it not being a mundane red, but maybe a more nether-oriented colour.
I guess then yellow or black? The nether has a very restrictive color scheme, unfortunately.
The reason I chose blue is because the nether is so dominantly red that it's hard on the eyes. Particulary in Sanity since the netherrack is pretty vibrant. Having blue nether brick gives you something to rest your eyes on, which makes the nether more bearable.
It also makes nether fortresses stand out more so they're easier to find. I chose that color after I realized I'd spent a dozen hours looking for a fortress in my netherworld... and couldn't see the one near my portal because it looked the same as everything else.
So I'm sorry if you'd don't like it, but the blue is staying.

ModeratorWhich do you like better? The left or the right? Or do you even care? Maybe you can't tell the difference?
(I apologize for this post. I am very tired and more than a little disgruntled because I fail so hard at making good grass textures)

ModeratorThank you! I'm honored you chose my pack as your first.
I was really nervous about the new glass. A previous version hadn't been well received, so I'm glad that you're enjoying it.

This is another great reason that the blue is staying: It's different!
If it doesn't, please let me know. I'll try to help you get it working.
