I really like that light fur coat it looks simple but good and your tales of travel to distant lands to interact with the natives are interesting.
"give a man a fire and he'll be warm for the night, set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life."
I love that quote.
Do you think I should frame all of my updates with stories? Because I really enjoy writing them!
I'm pretty sure they just didn't like that guy. anyone dumb enough to walk in to a fire is shunned in testificate villages, and are given the title of Jim, if they live
Nice villager coats. I guess that villager was not very popular with the other folk. That or they just don't care if one of their own is burned to ashes from being stupid. Or didn't notice. I'd guess the latter with their...expressions.
Their expressions don't seem to change much no matter what happens. I don't know if that's a good indication of their feelings.
Ehehe, I've been a bit busy too minecraft recently, I keep meaning to check and see. My apologies.
No worries. Does the updated version work for you? I hope so. If not, let me know.
I've Finished All of the Villagers!
I may be releasing a new version of the pack soon. It'll depend on whether or not Kahr fixes the enchantment stuff in MCPatcher today. If he doesn't, I'll put out a new version without all of that, and just include the villagers and other additions I've added or re-added.
I was just saying that their face just makes them look oblivious to everything around them. That does seem to be how it works in real life. The derpier their face looks, the less they seem to notice what goes on around them. Plus, I'm sure with their lives, the only thing that they have to notice is the zombies, and their reactions are probably instincts activated by the sound/appearance/whatever sense they use to determine a zombie is close.
If you enjoy writing update stories then yeah by all means continue, they seem like a good extra creative output for you and they're actually not bad, gives some insight into what your thinking while making those textures.
Actually, at least in the last case, that wasn't what I was thinking when I made the textures. It's what happened when I tried to take the screenshot. I put down a spawn egg and the villager bolted strait into the fire and off into the woods before burning to death about 20 blocks away. The other two villagers I had put down just stayed still and starred at me. It was... weird.
Anyway, it's probably a little late to start doing that in erenest now considering I'll probably only be updating this one or two more times outside of just keeping up with vanilla Minecraft. Seriously, there's not much else that I really want to add.

Ah yea, that makes sense. They are derpy as all get out.
Wow! This texture pack is really quite nice! Very good work sir, very good work. I would love to see more updates to this pack and see it's growth. This is VERY nice.
Just absolutely love this texture pack, this and OCD have to be my favs. Although I prefer this one more, great work on it.
Btw, I tried putting the code you put in the thread to support your Text pack but it doesn't send you here when you click it ;o. The image shows fine though. .
And in reply, you could always add lore to your pack somewhere or add extra Easter eggs to give a background story to but anyway It's great that Sanity is complete. I always enjoy the custom light map, it's so much better than seeing the default sunset/sunrise.
Seems like a lot of work for something that few people, if any, are likely to read.

While I thank you for the compliment, development of Sanity is definitely coming to an end. There's just not that much more I want to add to it, and I'd rather start an entirely new pack than just keep adding stuff that even I don't care about to this one. So while I'm glad you enjoy it, outside of just keeping up with vanilla Minecraft I'm afraid I'm probably going to have to disappoint you. Sorry.

That's because I forgot one minor detail. Try it again with the fixed version I just edited in. It should work now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Meh, probably just that Alvoria is looking for an excuse to bump his thread with random bits of new art just because he's running out of stuff to add to the pack.

I concur. The gills of the mushroom make it look more like the mess of hyphae and mycelium that mushrooms are. And, ya know, that's kinda what the underside of mushrooms look like...
I heard from the title of your topic that's 100% complete. Have you done CTM, randomobs, does you need to have a sky that fits the idea of your story? Or maybe, you've got some mods thats suits it.
(the shroom is very good!)
The "100% complete" bit refers to 100% of all vanilla textures. I have all of the CTM and Random Mobs I care to do completed. I'm not going to do a sky texture, and there's no "story" per say. I do have a few mods supported, and am planning to add more when/if they update.

Well, I didn't necessarily use "big" words, just accurate terms for what I was referring to. Sometimes I speak strangely (and I don't talk much in real life, so I mess up speaking quite frequently) and other times I use as scientifically accurate terms as possible given the message I am conveying. That just happened to be one of the latter moments, in which I come up with, in no long period of time, a very complex sentence that those who have a well-rounded and thorough education are capable of understanding, however, those who refuse such education or are not allowed it in whatever way they may be may not comprehend my message until it is rephrased in such a way that would be possible to be understood by all walks of life. In some situations my over-explaining my meaning or situation results in more lengthy amounts of speech or text, but I consider that a good thing, for it shows that I can thoroughly analyze a situation, or, in the aforementioned case, I can take a sentence with words from a higher education and, also as mentioned, allow everyone to understand me. In most cases where this phenomena occurs, I end up repeating things that I have said, possibly due to a subconscious will to be understood to the utmost degree possible, for repeating myself after I have said something quite understandably, yet still having to repeat what I said because someone did not understand me or got lost is quite irritating to me. This, ironically, leads to more people being confused on what I say, for my trains of thought are very much more complex than need be, thus even those who are my equals may not be capable of following my train of thought, for my thoughts keep going until I have said and organized all things in my mind associated with the given topic. Once finished with my train of thought, I am then capable of reducing the thoughts that I had just spoken down to a comprehensible level for those who are or were listening to me and were incapable of following what I said.
I understood all of that but it sounds like one of my English essays, 15 different ways of saying the same thing.
My civics teacher always used to tell us "An essay should be like a miniskirt: long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep everyone's attention." English teachers that force overly long papers on a subject that doesn't require them are doing a massive disservice to academia.
al I got a feeling your civics teacher is a perv...
Maybe a little. On the other hand, he knew how to keep a captive audience so we all learned a lot. It was actually the only social sciences class I didn't fall asleep during. He may have been a bit of a dirty old man, but he knew how to make a dry subject interesting!
On a more serious note, I've re-implemented most of the mod support that was removed with the 1.6 update. On the other hand, I'm not finished with the enchantment effects. I'm wondering if I should release a version that has the mod support re-added, or just wait until I've finished with the enchantment effects.
Do you think I should frame all of my updates with stories? Because I really enjoy writing them!
I did not know that.

As always, feedback is Greatly Appreciated!

Ah yea, that makes sense. They are derpy as all get out.
Yep! It's working just fine now :3 Thank you!

Guess I didn't pull it off very well, huh.
Seems like a lot of work for something that few people, if any, are likely to read.
Maybe I'll do an animated series instead.
You're welcome! Let me know if I accidentally break anything else!
Is that a good thing? Why do I feel like I'm going to have to re-do that animation again.

Woooo! It's always a huge ego-boost for me when someone says they like Sanity over a better-known pack. Thanks for making my day!
That's because I forgot one minor detail. Try it again with the fixed version I just edited in. It should work now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sounds about right

Wow, look at you using all the big words.
And thanks for the compliment.
Minecraft is not realistic enough?
Yea, I do that too. Although, I've gotten better about it as I've gotten older.
I found it to be an interesting enough read.

Glad you like it! I'm always happy to hear that my work has improved someone's world!
