I would recommend doing something about the blending of colors far away, that jungle just looks like a bright green blob. Try more shading maybe?

The oak leaves andthe vines is just too green! Almost hurts in my eyes :S

This is my first texture pack and I am working on others with shading and not super bright textures. The reason it is so bright is because it is supposed to be a little bit like alpha and thank you for not saying it explodes your eyes.

I learned the reason why Mojang added biome shading in the first place and dumped the neon green grass and leaves.
Because if you walk into a jungle, your eyes will water. *or maybe explode*

I think if your eyes are going to explode you should see a doctor because im pretty thats not normal.

perhaps some sort of darker colors in with the bright would help break it up though. The alpha leaves still have "holes" that are darker.

That solid neon green....it seriously is ugly. Fix it.
You can add custom biome grass shading in your texture pack if you want an Alpha-style look.
