But nothing happens... I tried this propertyfile on two different blocks, one with Metadata and one without.
The block with Metadata (Is a copy of stonebricks, all using the same ID via metadata) is not reacting at all, and the other block (just a simple block with no additional Metadata-stuff) becomes transparent on the sides CTM should've applied the indicated texture.
It's just that renaming it to "block2.properties" prooves the code itself is working, it's just not being applied to modblocks. Am I somehow using the wrong way to assign the stuff?
well i have working mod ctm files and how i do it is by including the mods terrain.png (or whatever they call it) and then applying a ctm to the terrain.png instead of the block (here is an example from pre 1.5 to see what i mean, using the mod in my sig and its an animation but works the same way) http://www.mediafire...qcayyxv2davc247
edit: btw the reason i do ctm that way is because i have alot of mods so my ids are prone to changing
added 2 mooshrooms (one with a red mushroom texture and one with a brown)
added 4 skeleton textures with various bones missing
added 3 damaged zombie textures
added an animated comparator (on)
added an animated detector rail (on)
more to come!
any suggestions?
edit: and btw im not the best with configs and still run on 1.4.7 so dont count on me for fixing the glass thing... sorry (hopefully someone else will post a fix for it)

nope its not just the mac apparently it hapens to everyone
I also want to make CTM for my texture pack, but I have no idea which number is what part of which block.
Can somebody explain it to me so I can use CTM too?
This is awesome, but how did you do that? Is there a tutorial about advanced ctm or any guide that explains it all? Because I'd like to do things like that, too

well i used mcpatcher to automadicly do it for me...
you do the same exept with different named propertys (download the pack from my link i posted a while ago)
But it is very difficult to see which image is which CTM texture, and I want to use it for my own pack, so downloading yours won't help I think. And with the properties files, they only have to have a custom name, and I don't have to do anything with it?

i mean use my pack as a reference (or use mcpatcher if you to convert an old version)
(oh and if you want to know how it goes it is 0-11=the first row of textures from the old ctm 16-27=2nd row 32-43=3rd row 48-59=last row)

If you look in the pack, you will find ctm for iron blocks using minecraft's original textures. They don't connect very well though, so I made some of my own, and I think they look all-right, thank you
split it into 16x16 squares and replace the files for iron with those (it is discontinued as the new one is much better so you have to update it yourself)

Which post?
I couldn't find them, could you be more specific?
ICBM Mod - Missiles and Military Tech
More specific... ok. download the zip, open the zip, go to ctm folder in the zip, open the file named Metal_old.png ...
so, what do i do with that?
