Of course! There hasn't been much going on lately, what with me having school and exams and such, and altswang getting married, but over the summer I'm hoping to have some more time to get it worked on for some more of the new stuff!

ill be sure to note what textures are 1.9/snapshot specific and ones that can be used in the current 1.8 pack. Enchanting table and some others should be ok in 1.9 or 1.8 but the Inventory UI is all shifted in 1.9 so I wouldnt recommend updating that just yet. or put out a second download for 1.9. I dont expect mojang to finish 1.9 in a year similar to how long it took 1.8. so idk

-Finished up beetroots and got their block model done.
-Changed up the new Chain and Repeating command blocks front back and side.(Conditional is exampled with green)
-Spectral arrow, Potion arrows, Shields, the two types of Chorus fruit

Not 100% happy with potion arrows, honestly wished they had a texture for each one and not just grey scaled and color matched to potion types.
Working on purpur blocks right now they are only recolored bricks and quartz blocks.
Need other's opinion on Endstone/bricks. Eld's original design for endstone looks more like a brick so was thinking of remaking the endstone to look more earthly or naturally occurring and re-purposing his original design to be the new Endstone Brick.

Looks fantastic so far, and yeah I know what you mean with the endstone situation. I would definitely be interested in seeing what you could do with a more natural endstone texture, and then yeah maybe somehow changing the current one to fit the new endstone brick textures!
That's interesting but controlling the cosmetic appearance of an item based on damage values to me appears to be catering more to battle damaged weapons, not necessarily a new weapon for each damage value. Unless the server you're working on stops weapons from losing durability when certain conditions are met? Cool stuff though. Hate to play devil's advocate all the time. :/

Oh yeah of course. I will probably end up doing a battleworn texture for them just for the standard pack. I just found this idea intriguing and I will probably just keep it on my own server TP. This idea only works for unbreakable, like maybe on an adventure map or server.

Jman has an updated version on the front page, now this doesnt include any long unfinished textures(ie horses). I do not believe he has created a 1.9 version yet either. Being a snapshot Im sure its not that important. But the 1.9 textures I have updated i havent really been uploading, just showing progress and asking for suggestions on things.
Just a heads up, the Steve.png file is outdated and makes other players on servers look like zombie pigmen. This new Steve.png should still be the same as the old one visually, but it should map correctly.

HE LIVES! Joking aside, no worries man :D. We really ought to make a github or something where changes could be submitted so a latest update would always include the latest updates/fixes. That way we could make a download link that always linked to the latest version. I know AltSWAG (See what I did there?!!?!?!!?!?! Ok that was terrible sorry.) has been hard at work with the new update textures and stuff.
I honestly can't play Minecraft without this texturepack. This pack is too good. Letting it die would be a disservice to MC in general.

Saw this yesterday and made me wonder if that's something I'd like to do. Weapon and tool designing is one of my favorite things to mess with.
