It's just a snapshot, and that 3d thing hasn't been worked out fully yet.
Wait, 3D textures? I'll have to look into this, I had heard about it, since I do keep up with the snapshots, but I guess I just glossed it over. Sounds interesting
Is there no download for the "resource pack" version? I don't mind a missing texture here and there, but it won't load at all in 1.7.
You mean the latest 1.7 release, right? If so, I'm not sure where you would be running into an issue, it should work fine. Anyone else here know more about what his problem might be?
It's my pleasure, really, and I'm afraid not. Just with the nature of the project, being unofficial and all, from both a moral and a legal standpoint I don't really care to mess around with such things. I do greatly appreciate the offer though, perhaps in the future if I work on my own project, or if my YouTube channel gets bigger, I may consider looking into a donation widget
Oh my goodness that looks absolutely stunning. Do you know how that would incorporate with the connected textures mod from Optifine? Just curious, I'm certainly not gonna complain, as that looks completely amazing. I look forward to seeing what else you can do with the 3D block models! Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out sometime, as well
Still looking great as ever, glad to see that the flowers are at last almost done! Once they are, I think I'll put up an updated download link, and also I think I'll remove the individual folder with the pack in it, and just put the contents directly in the zip file.
Oh, and on that note, Nova_Drew74 and piousminion, if you're still around! I believe that is probably where you're running into a problem. With the current download, there is another folder inside the zip file, other than the Screenshots file. THAT is the one you have to put into the resource pack folder. Sorry for the confusion, I'll be sure to simplify that in the next update!
Oh. Wow. This is great. You instantly have my full support, for what it's worth. If I can get to where I can make decent textures in his color palette and style, I'd absolutely love to help with contribution.. That is, if you're open to outside input. From your OP it looked like you were.. I don't consider myself excellent at creating textures, but I do actually have a pack in development, so I do have a little experience, at least.
Now, if Eld would just start an alpha for Eldgame, he wouldn't have to work for Mojang >.<
EDIT: It'd be awesome to have a more specific list as to which 1.7 textures you don't have yet. Maybe I can mess around with stuff o:
EDIT 2: Just found your Youtube channel.. What editor do you use to make textures? I use GIMP currently, but it looks like that's not what you were using.. Nevermind, I found it.
Think I've got a better fit for the Emerald block as well (Borderless, again, but much different from current default)-
I did a bordered version too, just because all the other ones have borders by default-
And a Nether Quartz ore block that makes more sense with the actual quartz item, and, I think, fits with Eld's style of ore better. It's kind of like the current alt for quartz ore, but more isolated-
I think the current Redstone Block could use some reskinning, too. The Lapis and Diamond blocks seemed to have polished pieces of rock in them. I tried to have the same effect with my emerald texture.
Just kind of messing around here. I really don't care what you do with these- whether you choose to include them or not, etc.
If I make any more, I'll put them in this post so I don't spam too much xD

I thought they were done? I did the poppy, rosebush, lilac, peony, daisy, allium, azure bluet, sunflower, and orchid. Squid did the vaious tulips. what other flowers are there that need doing cuz i will gladly finish them. unless you are referring to the tallfern and tallgrass. I am no good at grayscale so if I decide to do that its gonna take some tweeking.

If you use Paint NET I think you can just do the textures in green, and then use the "Black and White" setting under "Adjustments." I think that would work.. Not sure how it would turn out though..
So.. I went ahead and made a few alts.Borderless Lapis and Diamond blocks- and Think I've got a better fit for the Emerald block as well (Borderless, again, but much different from current default)- I did a bordered version too, just because all the other ones have borders by default- And a Nether Quartz ore block that makes more sense with the actual quartz item, and, I think, fits with Eld's style of ore better. Those look fantastic, actually, I've been hoping that someone was gonna make a better emerald texture eventually! You're certainly much better at it than I am
Also, if you wanted to give the redstone block a shot, go right ahead!

I actually forgot about those tulips somehow, and I'm also having a hard time finding them in the thread. Would you be so kind as to resend them for me? Also yeah, I was also thinking of the tall grass and fern, and like Keldt said, you can just edit it in color and then grey scale it later, that should work just fine!
EDIT: Also, what are everyones thoughts on the bordered vs. borderless ore blocks, as far as the base pack is concerned? I'll include the other one as alts, for sure, but I was wondering what you guys think I should keep as default. While I'm always skeptical to change any of Eld's original work, the borderless versions are minor edits and can certainly be more useful to people. Let me know what you guys think!
EDIT2: One more thing, I whipped up another Nether Quartz Ore variant quick, what do you guys think?
I like the concentrated nature of Keldts, but the more spread out look of the original. PS, yes I literally did just cut and paste Keldts on top of the original

XD nice.
Yeah, I actually like that more than either of the other ones. It doesn't look too random, but it also fits better with the other ores.
Also, what are everyones thoughts on the bordered vs. borderless ore blocks
Oh, I've always liked borderless ore blocks better.. Unless they're styled like the iron, gold, and quartz blocks are currently. Tiled blocks certainly have their uses, and I can certainly see the logic in not wanting to change any of Eld's old textures. I'd like it if we could have at least one borderless ore block, unless either everyone likes the borderless idea more in general, or everyone is completely against it.
I'll give the Redstone block a go in a bit. Thanks for the enthusiasm and support so far!
EDIT: I think I'm done. Here's what I came up with: (Borderless) (Bordered)
Also: Is stagnant water supposed to have an animation, or not? I've not been getting one.
No problem, thank you for liking it!

Sorry to hear you're having problems, are there any specifics you can give as to the problem? Is anyone else having problems with it?
