Since I updated to 1.5.2 the interface looks a little wonky. Are you working on updating the pack? This is by far the best texture pack in my opinion, the only one I use and I've looked around a lot for textures packs. It kind of disappointed me to find out the original author no longer is working on it but I'm glad there's a continuation project

I noticed that actually, it's been a while so I wasn't sure if it was always like that or not, but I figured not. I got a new computer however, so I'm still waiting for all of my files to be brought to me from the old one, as my dad is putting them on a flash drive, but that should be coming today, so I should be able to start working on that sometime this week. I have a lot going on with school right now though, tons of projects and stuff, so updating might be a little slower than usual for the next couple weeks, but I'll be back full force afterwards
Well Thanks Jman for uptade this pack, but i love Creator This Texturepack.
Well of course, we all love Eld! I'm simply here to help the fans to keep it updated, and really, it's the texture artists that should be thanked, I'm simply the organizer :3
I have noticed more animated textures like the shining diamond. Is there someone else brave enough to make more animated textures, and we still need someone to texture the other villagers and the dragon and the wither and etc.
Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been on in a while, I got a new computer recently so I've been busy getting all my files and such sorted out, as you may remember, but I should be back for good now, as exams are also finished for the school year. I've just posted an updated link with a few small updates, but the main thing is a large chunk of the Aether II textures are now done, at least to some extent, so for all of you who enjoy that mod, I'm sure this is great news! Still plenty of work left to do, but enough is done that I'm happy releasing it the the public now. In regards to 1.6, I haven't yet done any of the new stuff for that yet, but I'll see what I can do.

Indeed, those particular mobs are some of the highest priority that I have for the pack, I just wish I was a talented enough pixel artist to do them myself. Hopefully someone will eventually take a stab at those, I might at least be able to do the Wither, but I'm not even sure about that. We really need more supporters for the pack, as while we have several VERY talented artists, they also have their own work, and like me, might not be very good at mobs, but hopefully in due time we will get more people willing to contribute :3
Good job guys! You really know how to make textures! This is my favourite modpack. The only thing that "torments" me is the book overlay. It's too plain.

I'll look into that sometime soon, as you aren't the first to say something about the book writing GUI. Thanks for the input, and glad to hear you enjoy!
Alright everyone, finally got the pack up to date with the new format, and textured (very quickly) the coal block and all the hardened/stained clay blocks. Still need the hay block, and all of the new items that were introduced, in addition of course to all of the other things that still need to be done. In the download I've also included the 1.5.1 files, so anyone who hasn't updated yet can still use the pack without messing about with anything.
It's amazing how this thread has just 6 pages. This texture pack deserves more.
I agree, I'm surprised that more people haven't found it yet. It's one of the first results when you search for EldPack, but I guess even the original texture pack was never massively popular, it's always been more one of the smaller packs, like a local store. Might not be as big as some packs, but is massively underrated, and at least as high quality as the others :3
In the 1.6.1 texture pack (resource pack) the texture for cobblestone is currently the texture for stone bricks, at least on the one I downloaded it from here it is. Anyone else experience a texture swap between cobblestone and stone bricks?

Oh wow, thanks for bringing that up, I wouldb't have noticed that for a while, as I'm still mostly playing in 1.5.2. Something must have went wrong with the conversion, but I just put up the fixed link, so thanks again! I also included a few very minor changes to some unchanged textures, such as the zombie villager, ender crystal, ender chest, and the stats icons.
First of all, thanks to everyone for continuing Eldpack (my favourite texture pack), you're all doing a great job! I was wondering if you could tweak the hardened clay colours a bit though. I just think they're slightly too pastel; my "red" barn looks pink.
Our pleasure, really, glad you like it!

Didn't realize so much had changed with the format, so it might take a little while, but hopefully I'll get it up sometime tomorrow, at the latest.
Thanks!

Ahh, thank you for bringing that to my attention, just put up the fix. Knew I was forgetting something
Glad to help! I didn't see it in the list of things that needed to be textured so I thought I might bring it up. Keep up the good work!
