I like the concept, but it looks as if you just added the wool texture to everything, which is really easy to do...

But it'd be better to practice and actually make the blocks look like they were made from materials rather than just use the wool texture as an overlay and sticking it over the default textures.

Hm...some blocks look exactly the same. Perhaps keep the wooly texture but also make the blocks stand out from one another? Speaking of wool, i feel very warm now.
