Well it is hard to say how long it took because it was kind of an "on and off" project for me. I have been working on it for a few months, but that probably boils down to a day of work.
I have to agree with Visual_Argonian. Add some different colors. I know it's your first pack, but it's going to get shot down if you just use bucket fill. Try to add some shading. It can still be a "smooth" or "simple" texture pack with shading. Just add a bit and it'll make a world of difference!

I haven't just been using a fill tool i have actualy been going in and recolouring everything by hand.
Well, think about it for a second.
The fact you've spent some time carefully filling everything in but people think it's a one-click job with the bucket fill tool isn't a good sign.
The thing is, there are some blocks that are not shown in there that do have some interesting things about them. Take the bedrock for example, it isn't the best texture but it is something unique.
This is my first texture pack so please try not to be to much of a downer, I have many more projects in the works.
You know, I made a thread about this kind of situation. It was something along the lines of "Your first texture pack and your first published texture pack should not be the same thing." You should make a few different packs before thinking you have one good enough to release. My first pack was this, and as you can see, I was decently practiced before releasing it.
And don't tell people not to be negative or something, they're giving criticism and trying to help you improve. You publish a texture pack to see peoples' thoughts on it, and what's the point if you're going to tell people not to criticize it anyway?

This is actualy my first released one. my first one ended up looking horible.

Alright, I guess I'll give criticism on how to improve this one then.
1. Use shading. Yes, simple packs can use shading, look at Bluebird.
2. Don't use default colors.
3. Don't use pure black outlines, they have too much contrast and look bad.

So you are saying it is not bad but it is bad?
Sorry what do you mean by that?
