This Is a texture pack that adds Christmas lights (blinking colored pixels) to the pine leaf texture,I also made Jack'o'Lanterns look like pine wood so you can make a glowing Christmas tree!
Installing:
Windows- To install, place the zip file in the folder :%APPDATA%/Roaming/.minecraft/texturepacks
Any computer- To install, open Minecraft, click "Texture Packs" then click "Open texture pack folder." Place the .zip in the folder that pops up.
Your screenshots aren't working, but I checked it anyway.
I see the idea behind it, but I think you should use your own textures rather than reusing the defaults, and yours should be christmas styled so it all matches.
Also, your lights won't work, because you are animating a greyscaled texture. If you give an animation to a texture that utilizes biome colouring, then any colours, like lights, will change with the biome colouring. I don't think there is a way around this.

I didn't want to create an entire Christmas-themed texture pack, just add an animated texture. And about the screenshot, what do you mean it isn't working? does it not show up on the post? Also the game "coloring" the texture with the biome colors does not seem to affect the light colors significantly, and since it always uses the same color I can probably adapt the light colors to counter-balance the color change.

Yes, the shots do not show up.
It is quite wierd to have just some animated textures with no pack.
You need MCPatcher for this texture pack to work!
