Simple Craft (0.1.1)
This is a texture pack im working on. It is very early in the making (wip) and it is very simple, which is why it is called simple craft. This is my first texture pack that i have actually decided to try very hard on and i think I can do it this time

You must unzip after download or it wont work

Download (MediaFire). Im releasing the download now because the fire animation stopped working which was the reason I closed the download before.

This is way to similar to the defaults, I can hardly tell anything is changed. Try to come up with your own colors and unique style for textures because the defaults are rather ugly and overused.

Again WIP, and I am removing the download until i have done a little more work. Also are you sure you unziped it before you but it in your texture pack folder? won't work unless you do. that is if you downloaded it

There are far too many simple packs, and this one is no better. Two colors a block, only extreme noobs call it good. There have been over 9000 SimpleCrafts and yours is just the same.

I don't think the number of colors is the issue, but rather what those colors are and how they are used. In this pack they aren't used well at all. It simply looks bucket-filled and on top of that the colors look very default and bad.

Check out that for palettes and many simple packs to learn from because many of those simple packs there do simple the right way.

Cobblestone is gray with lines scribbled on it.
If that doesn't scream "lazy" then I don't know what does.

This is definitely the epitome of creativity. Don't listen to these guys, OP, do your thing and finish this pack!

Again, first texture pack-ish. Im doing this with gimp, the other two ive tried to do i did with an app on my ipod
