This texture pack has left me sh**ing brix... words cannot describe the awesomeness...

Oooh, so THAT'S how you make a signature...

Located 16gigs of ram to minecraft, did all the installation steps.
Still crashes.
What kind of graphics card do you have? and don't allocate all of your ram, that could cause crashes. And what resolution of the pack are you using? thanks.
Yes! See SkyChaseZOne, your texture pack is so loved more and more of us want you to at least try to add textures for more than just regular minecraft.
***puppy eyes*** Puuuleeeeeease!
+1 on some mod support! This pack's style and feel definitely match up with mods like Thaumcraft, Mystcraft, Twilight Forest and a few other similar mods, but they are surely time consuming for one person to do. Maybe you could try supporting ExtraBiomes... Which is mostly leaves, flowers, logs, and terrain.
Overclocked GTX 670 (just past stock gtx 680 levels) and overclocked 2500k (at 4.4ghz). Not sure how much the overclocking actually helps in minecraft but it can't hurt anyway!

very nice, is that 670 the 4Gb version? or just the base card?
I just pruchased the 660ti ftw 3gb and am seriously considering stepping up(evga step-up) to the 670 ftw 4Gb.
Also how stable is your 2500 overclock? what voltage you using?I've got the same cpu, I've been doing some overclocking but haven't got it stable yet.

Well the 670 is the gigabyte windforce edition but only the 2gb one. I've yet to have a situation where I've needed more than that though, even with my skyrim and it's thousands of high res texture overhauls!
I would have bought a 4gb one or even a 4gb 680 but I got my 670 the day it was first available in Aus for a stunning price of $550... I really should have waited because I can get a 4gb 680 for that price when they're on sale, but I was hasty and Aus prices are marked up a reasonable amount anyway (typically 100 more than in america).
Highly recommend the 670 though, they usually overclock amazingly well, I haven't seen one that couldn't get its core clock past 1200mhz (and a fair few can get to 1300 or above)
My 2500k is 100% stable, never had any crashes with it or anything. No bluescreens since I built this computer and overclocked it which is just lovely. I'm pretty sure it's using 1.26v or something similar which I know is more than I need because I had it at 4.6ghz at the same voltage and it seemed stable but I didn't feel the need to keep my chip running at that speed and it keeps cool enough anyway. I'd prefer to just know it's 100% stable.
I do only have a coolermaster hyper 212 evo as my cpu cooler with the fans running at about half speed (possibly a bit less) so if you have that or better it should be perfectly fine.
I'm currently still running version 1.4.5 of the game. i downloaded the "Older Version" file, but it says it's for 1.4.7. If I install that file, should it work? Are texturepacks "backwards compatible" in that sense?
Just found my new favorite texture pack Your x256 is amazing, However; some constructive criticism for you, the text is a bit hard to read, E's and I's look similar, I would recommend a complete font change, but other than that, it looks beautiful!

When I use the MC standart textures its runs fine with Forge and Damage Indicators.
Any Idea how to fix this?
I dont see how this would be a texture pack issue, possibly a memory issue, along with the chest problem, both are probably a memory/graphics card issues. try running the 256x version and see if the chests work. or you could just switch out the 256 chest textures for the 512's and it will probably work.
Or just run the 256 all together there isn't that much pixel difference and it still looks great
And again, the Damage Indicators mod may be piling more memory usage on top of the 512 pack and that may be why its crashing with rise of tredonia and not default textures.
This will be fixed in the next update, I should have it out around may 1st, if you would like to fix it yourself, find the moon_phases.png in the texture pack zip in the environment folder, open it in an editing program and resize it down about 50%, or to whatever still looks good and not to pixelly. Thanks

My God do I feel bad for not checking in so long. Thank you for updating this pack, It is majestic, and I missed it. Now I can take this to 1.5 andgive myself back the atmosphere this texture pack creates, this time in 512 resolution, which is probably going to murder my computer XD. Still, thank you for bringing this back and better then ever. Sphax is good, I'm sorry for saying its overrated, and there are other opinions about what the best texture pack is, but to me this will always be my 1#.

That aside, are there any links to a 1.4.7 version of this floating around? Would like to check it out, but waiting on some mods to update.
underneath the download section theres an old 64x for 1.4.7, its quite outdated though as I did an overhaul on it inn... early march I believe.
And no, I've yet to experiment with lightmaps and the like, one day I'm sue I will.

Curse PremiumNothing better than 512x with the shaders. looks absolutely glorious although I can almost hear my computer crying in protest...
Still runs at ~50fps though, so it can't be hurting it that badly!
Wow, nice frames! What are your PC specs?
