So I've been working on a texture pack for a while now, and I decided to post it here since some people suggested it. So I bring you Madocraft, a texture pack aimed for Yume Nikki fans. (Though you don't have to be a fan to enjoy the pack)
Madocraft has started as an update of Nyrator's Yume Nikki Texture Pack (I can't remember their username on here), of which the last update was for 1.0. Because of this, I decided, after given permission, to pick up the project and make it better. How exactly? See for yourself!

UboaaaAAAsound:
What is UboaaaAAAsound, you say? Is the title not enough? Ubuusound is basically the soundpack I've been talking about for a while, now! Yes, this is its presented form, dreamers! No music yet, but we plan on it to be implemented in the future!
For those that want to use UboaaaAAAsound, there's an option for this resource pack, too. v## is the main one. Everything is there. v##-nn excludes edited Note Block sounds.
Compatible with Minecraft 1.6+
Recommended for Minecraft 1.12
(Note: Using UboaaaAAAsound v03 and later in Minecraft versions prior to 1.7.6 will cause most custom sounds to play rarely, instead of entirely replacing vanilla sounds. This is due to a bug in earlier versions that causes a necessary string to be ignored, as well as the way UboaaaAAAsound is set up.)
So what is this new pack? What does it do? Madocraft 3xtendeD is an expansion that makes use of more custom models and block details, recommended for more powerful machines.
There are options for Madocraft 3xtended as well. The full version has everything so far. The Light version only contains models of blocks and items that are either not considered normally abundant or do not contain much more detail than in Madocraft or vanilla. Alternatively, the full version has a list of models included, each with the file name to delete or rename in order to disable them.
Musical Dreams:
Yes, there is music, now. It's not a collection of masterpieces, though, and updates, if any, will be slow.
(Despite warnings, this is compatible with earlier versions.)
But wait, multiple resource packs? Wouldn't this be impossible? Well, maybe if you haven't updated to 1.7.0 or after, but now there is! It's rather simple, really. Just install the resource pack you wish to use, launch Minecraft, go to options, resource packs, and there will be two lists of resource packs. From "Available Resource Packs", locate the pack to select with your cursor, and a big arrow should appear over its thumbnail. Click it, and it should move to "Selected Resource Packs", right above Madocraft. Click Done to finish and start experiencing more from the dreamworld!
So why is Ubuusound separate from Madocraft? Isn't it officially part of it? Well, yes, but Ubuusound is more or less experimental, so we don't expect all Madocraft users to like it, and there may be people that just want to use the soundpack by itself. Making it separate just makes things easier, and making a pack with Madocraft and Ubuusound together when the latter doesn't get as frequent updates just takes up more time and space.
So what about Madocraft 3xtendeD? Well, it's an optional expansion, and keeping that separate makes things easier, especially customization.
We now have a tumblr blog for small updates on Madocraft, UboaaaAAAsound, and Madocraft 3xtendeD. Big updates and new versions will still be posted here. This is mainly something to show off some little things in Madocraft's development, as well as an easy way for others to keep track.

Installing en_MD.lang (1.5.2 and earlier)
To install the .lang file, open Madocraft and minecraft.jar with a program that can open .zip and .rar files (WinZip, 7Zip, WinRAR, etc.), open up the lang folders, and move en_MD.lang and languages.txt from Madocraft to minecraft.jar. This method has been used since 11/30/12 in a lang fix update, and is now included in the Madocraft releases since 1.4.6-1. (If you are using more than one custom .lang file, please refer to ".lang update info" to learn to resolve possible conflicts)

11/30/12 - I have added a .zip file for the purpose of removing the need to replace en_US.lang. This is not a texture pack update, but rather just the lang folder with the necessary files for Madocraft's .lang file to work, therefore installation is the same as installing en_US.lang. This will still create conflict with other custom .lang files, however this is easy to overcome. Just extract language.txt and, regarding alphabetical order, add the following formula to the file and install: = ()Example: en_MD=Madocraft English (US)(Note to replace the names with the fields with the appropriate names and without the <>s. Appropriate names can be viewed within the top three lines of the .lang file, openable with Notepad, Wordpad, or most other word document programs. Of course, Madocraft's custom .lang file is already included and ready by default.)If another .lang file you use is named en_MD.lang, let me know and I will change it.
1.9 users: For those that have v1.0 and don't wish to download the entire file, download the bugfix and place it on top of v1.0 in the resource pack menu. Minecraft will still say that v1.0 is incompatible, but with the bugfix on top, it should be fine.

Despite all the previous criticism, I have to agree it may need some changes here and there, but despite all that you've done a fantastic job with some aspects like items and mobs. What would make this texture pack even greater would be changing the sounds and music in the game.

Why thank you. Yeah, it probably needs some changes (because some things I did were just plain lazy, lol), but I love it. I am working on a soundpack, as previously stated, so sounds and music will be provided with that.
I really like the wood, and dampen it down a bit. It seems really nice and then it's like 'Wow!' All up in your face. Whatever it is on the floor, in the first screenshot is a bit too.... dangerous for my liking.
But other than that it's really good.

So I've been working on a texture pack for a while now, and I decided to post it here since some people suggested it. So I bring you Madocraft, a texture pack aimed for Yume Nikki fans. (Though you don't have to be a fan to enjoy the pack)
Madocraft has started as an update of Nyrator's Yume Nikki Texture Pack (I can't remember their username on here), of which the last update was for 1.0. Because of this, I decided, after given permission, to pick up the project and make it better. How exactly? See for yourself!

What is UboaaaAAAsound, you say? Is the title not enough? Ubuusound is basically the soundpack I've been talking about for a while, now! Yes, this is its presented form, dreamers! No music yet, but we plan on it to be implemented in the future!
For those that want to use UboaaaAAAsound, there's an option for this resource pack, too. v## is the main one. Everything is there. v##-nn excludes edited Note Block sounds.

So what is this new pack? What does it do? Madocraft 3xtendeD is an expansion that makes use of more custom models and block details, recommended for more powerful machines.
There are options for Madocraft 3xtended as well. The full version has everything so far. The Light version only contains models of blocks and items that are either not considered normally abundant or do not contain much more detail than in Madocraft or vanilla. Alternatively, the full version has a list of models included, each with the file name to delete or rename in order to disable them.

Yes, there is music, now. It's not a collection of masterpieces, though, and updates, if any, will be slow.

But wait, multiple resource packs? Wouldn't this be impossible? Well, maybe if you haven't updated to 1.7.0 or after, but now there is! It's rather simple, really. Just install the resource pack you wish to use, launch Minecraft, go to options, resource packs, and there will be two lists of resource packs. From "Available Resource Packs", locate the pack to select with your cursor, and a big arrow should appear over its thumbnail. Click it, and it should move to "Selected Resource Packs", right above Madocraft. Click Done to finish and start experiencing more from the dreamworld!

So why is Ubuusound separate from Madocraft? Isn't it officially part of it? Well, yes, but Ubuusound is more or less experimental, so we don't expect all Madocraft users to like it, and there may be people that just want to use the soundpack by itself. Making it separate just makes things easier, and making a pack with Madocraft and Ubuusound together when the latter doesn't get as frequent updates just takes up more time and space.
So what about Madocraft 3xtendeD? Well, it's an optional expansion, and keeping that separate makes things easier, especially customization.
We now have a tumblr blog for small updates on Madocraft, UboaaaAAAsound, and Madocraft 3xtendeD. Big updates and new versions will still be posted here. This is mainly something to show off some little things in Madocraft's development, as well as an easy way for others to keep track.
