Hey guys, MattRapper here. I've started work on my texture pack, titled Matt's Texture Pack because I'm so creative. So far I have done the inventory and a few GUI and would like to know your opinion.
As you just said you are still working on this texture pack so when exactly will it finish because to be honest it looks alright but I would rather the completed version. So if you could PM me or something when it's finished that would be great.
That gui is actually not bad from what I can see, especially for a first texturepack!
I hope you keep working on it and make something great and I have some hints (from experience) for you:
You need a theme.
Seriously, without a theme no-one will care about your textures. Come up with something solid and stick to it. It doesn't matter if the theme's been done before, your own take on it will be unique and original! (I'm doing a steampunk pack despite Glimmar's amazing 32x one)
Do not just re-texture the defaults!
Although this seems like the most logical thing to do (I did it as well for my first pack) the people here will hate you for it. And with good reason too! Not only is it stealing but it also limits your creativity. So before you start painting your new texture delete the old one.
Don't upload until you have a texturepack that's about %80 complete. Not many people want to download unfinished texturepacks.
Good luck!

If I've been helpful. Give an internet.
